I bought this as a gift for my best friend who is a nurse in a Covid ward. She kills herself daily. Washes her hands every two minutes. It’s just awful. She wears the cheapest waterproof watch she can find in town. She won’t splurge on herself because she has a 15 year old daughter and she is divorced. I can’t afford a $100 Swatch watch all colorful and everything, I wish I could. But, This is a genuine Swatch watch. If you look at a Swatch Watch on their site or here and you want the day/date on the face, it’s $100 or more every single time. But this one. The flat black. It’s simple, it’s elegant. It can be worn casual and maybe slightly dressy because it’s simple and BONUS - DAY/DATE on the face. So I got it for her. She’s super creative. She’s gonna see it and maybe wonder why I just got flat black and not some exciting colorful one. I’m just gonna explain, sweetie, your a nurse, this is a better bet, you can use it more often. I’m hoping that having the day and date is as important than having a colorful band. Because this one is the one I could afford, and in my mind this one had all the best features. There’s one for $55 that’s super colorful. I know my friend would love it. But no day or date. I decided the black was better for my friend. What’s best for you is up to you…. good luck, honestly.     • UNISEX! Not only "womens"
An excellent watch with the quality control and consistency of the swatch group. At this price, you get perfect lining up of the second hand on the markers, a simple yet clean dial with no flaws, ultimate easy of readability and peace of mind. I wear mine in the shower all the time and it had had zero issues! The size 34mm is "small" but most watch companies including Rolex used to make watches this size before it became trendy to wear a "cookie" on a strap watch. In fact, I like light small watches like this (I am a man lol). Amazingly too, the watch has a super easy battery compartment to change, requiring no tools and can be done in like 5 min by ANYONE. Better yet, you can get the crystal buffed and the battery changed free for like at any swatch store in the mall. For the price, and for any price, this is an amazing watch, super lightweight and the plastic band and construction let's it "float" on your wrist. Also in 18 days it has lost one second total. I have been wearing this watch for years and have only changed the battery once. The face scratches over time and the magnifying glass over the date is nearly unreadable, but I wouldn't trade this watch for anything, I can wear it anywhere at anytime and never even realize it's there (mostly because of how light the watch is). If you are looking for a practical and minimalist watch this Swatch is for you! Also I'm a guy and have never felt like it is a feminine watch, I feel like it's an amazing unisex watch. ... show more

Easy to see time, day, date at an easy glance even for my aged eyesight. The day & date need adjusting to correct 12 hours / of 24 hour day when you first set it on initial receipt & again at first day of month following any month with less than 31 days in it. If you had a Swatch, you'll know you'll have this as long as you don't forget it somewhere, violently break it, or brutally damage the battery door by torquing it like an idiot (ask me how I know). These watches are built like [plastic] tanks. Buy it.

Its 34mm dial size is rated as a medium swatch by the manufacturer. The actual white dial is only about 26mm wide but the date/day window is easy to read because of the magnifier over it. The contrasting day and date prints next to each other is a nice design. Overall the watch is light in weight, very easy to read the time and is not very expensive in price. ... show more

Needed to buy another Swatch watch. My pervious one stopped working. I choose to replace it since I was leaving on vacation and wasn't able to get the battery replaced. I've had this brand since the 1980's. It's a great basic watch that's easy to wear for water activities.
