Was skeptical at first, but after using it all doubt is gone. I tried reading small text across the room on a cereal box nutritional information with and without the forehead rest and the difference was significant. With the forehead rest i can read the small texts if I hold it by two hands. Holding by one hand with forehead rest performs same as holding by two hands with no forehead rest. Now I use 10x42 nl pure for birding instead of 8x42 due to the reduced shake. What a wonderful gadget! ... show more

The forehead rest installed on the Swaro NL Pure with a firm/clean snap-in. I quickly found a suitable setting for my facial contours and the result is awesome. Even though the binoc is 10x42 magnification, I can hold it reasonably still at all distances. When I use my monopod, it is even more stable. On binoculars that costs over $3,000 it seems to me that they should have included it for free. At any rate, it's super light weight and effectively doubles the range of the binoculars! Swarovski should make these for all models of their binoculars.

Great product for Swarovski NL pure binoculars keeps them steady with that third contact point. Would highly recommend this head rest for your binoculars!!

    • Adjustment knob jammed after 4 days of use!
The adjustment knob on this forehead rest stopped working (would not turn) after only four days of use. We bought this new accessory along with a new pair of 12 x 42 Swarovski binoculars, and are greatly disappointed in the poor workmanship of this accessory.
