Featuring reference SVS subwoofer technology, SB-5000 R|Evolution delivers stunning output with refinement and musicality. Room-pressurizing output below 17Hz with pristine accuracy and stop-on-a-dime control to delight both audiophiles and home theater fans. With the emergence of new flagship SVS subwoofers, it was only a matter of time before the unprecedented technology made its way to newer models at prices within reach of more people. Now, the 5000 R|Evolution Series brings a level of performance and a user experience that far exceeds anything in its class. Featuring a sealed cabinet design, SB-5000 R|Evolution delivers pristine musical output with flawless tonal accuracy and unerring control to delight the most discerning audiophiles. Yet, it still wields enough power to pressurize a room and extend down to 17Hz for the most demanding cinematic action scenes. Effortless low-frequency output and extreme SPLs without a hint of distortion are rendered by a formidable 15-inch driver with dual edge-wound voice coils driven by a 2,000 Watt Continuous, 5,000+ Watts Peak power dual monoblock amplifier. There are also brains to match the brawn. A 295MHz Analog Devices DSP, the most powerful processor ever deployed in a home audio subwoofer, ensures pinpoint accurate frequency response and optimal performance under any conditions. SB-5000 R|Evolution demolishes all performance benchmarks for subwoofers in its class. With trickle-down technology from the 17-Ultra R|Evolution Series, named the top subwoofers in the world by nearly every reviewer and industry group, it obliterates expectations making reference experiences possible for more people than ever. This sealed subwoofer leads its class with a new 15” glass fiber composite cone for max efficiency and linearity. Dual-edge wound voice coils, advanced suspension, and extreme-excursion surround deliver powerful, precise SPLs. A toroidal ferrite motor ensures controlled, detailed low-end performance. Precision engineered dual edge wound voice coils ensure stable transfer of electro-magnetic current to the 15-inch driver for authoritative output and exacting driver control. This groundbreaking amp, inspired by SVS flagship subs, delivers 2,000W continuous and 5,000W+ peak power. Fully discrete MOSFETs and Class D efficiency ensure precise control and immense output. Dual monoblock amps drive each 3” voice coil, while eight 60A/200V MOSFETs maximize performance and efficiency. A state-of-the-art DSP powers this advanced subwoofer, precisely shaping in-room response for accurate sound. It stabilizes AC voltage for consistent peak output and monitors thermal, voltage, and current levels for max efficiency. With 120 dB SNR DACs, it delivers low noise, high headroom, and pure fidelity.
