I want to thank Suunto for updating the Race! I’m into watch faces and there were limited ones; however, they have responded to my requests and updated more faces! This is my favorite feature! But the watch is very bright with the screen and beautifully crafted. Thanks again for your support Suunto!

I bought this for my husband who’s an avid mountain bike rider. When he went to download the new software update, there was a glitch with the watch where it wasn’t connecting with the app completely, it would start to connect, then disconnect, then try to reconnect, and it was in this perpetual loop of trying to connect to the phone to the watch, Sunto is one of the worst companies to deal with customer service. There is no number you to call, have to deal with a chat system. We waited 4 hours and then we were disconnected. I finally found a number to some guy who works for Sunto for scuba diving watch branch repair center in New Mexico, and he said himself that Sunto is not a good watch company like how they used to be, and to return the watch if we could. Biggest piece of trash out there. When they finally emailed us back all they said it was for us to do a hard reset which we already did, in the end the watch couldn’t even turn off. Now they’re telling us it’s gonna be a four week wait. For a refund. ... show more

I like the Suunto brand. I had a Fitness 3 and replaced it with the 9 Peak Pro Titanium...which I returned for the Race. I like the new screen and it weighs more than the other. UI could be a little smoother and it takes hours to download maps.

I really liked this watch at first. It's beautifully crafted and an excellent display. Unfortunately the blood oxygen levels that this watch records is completely flaky... I was never able to get a reading over 75 % blood oxygen saturation even after multiple resets on the watch.... Apparently sensor was malfunctioning because technically I shouldn't be able to write this review. I should be in a hospital or something according to the watch!.... I have several Garmin and other smart watches that record 98% or higher. This is totally unacceptable, thus returned. ... show more
