    • Excellent, sturdy cart that can handle big heavy yaks and multiple terrain
Ordered from a Warehouse Deal for a small discount. The cart and straps were brand new and unused, but somehow the carry bag was cut up - had a hole in it and the closure cord was cut into many pieces. Don’t know how that could’ve happened. I used some paracord to replace the original and it works fine now...may try to repair the hole. Id give it 4.5 stars because the bag could be better/stronger/higher quality as you’re going to be putting metal parts into/out of the bag repeatedly. Now, the cart itself is great. It sets up easily and the wheels go on/off quickly with the included pins. The straps work well and I’ve had no trouble moving my Jackson Big Rig (~100 lbs @ 13’2” long). It’s a bit of a pain to get my kayak onto the cart from the ground after a trip, but that’s purely due to the size and weight of my yak. Anything smaller or lighter will be cake. My yak is 38” wide which is a lot more than most (meaning it’s super stable) and I had zero problems pulling it across grass, gravel, crushed granite and uneven turf to/from the water. I was initially worried it would tip or the cart wheels would dig into the gravel under the weight, but it performed great on all terrain. Not sure how it’d do on sand, but 99% of my use will be to lakes, rivers and large ponds so I’m a happy camper. The straps hold the yak securely enough and release easily. The cart is also light enough that I can strap it to my yak while it’s still extended from the bed of my truck. As long as it lasts and the straps don’t wear to breakage, this cart is a winner! ... show more

Wow, Very impressive. Fit my Ocean Kayak Malibu Two XL perfectly. Well made and heavy duty with simple design that made the kayak easy to load and effortless to transport. The carrier has its own kickstand legs which hold it upright while you swing the kayak up over it. Then just tighten the 2 quick release straps and your off. Found the perfect balance point where I only have to lift a couple pounds while walking. The Suspenz stays in place and maneuvers easily. Contacted the company prior to purchasing, sent them a couple measurements and pics to make sure I purchased the correct model. Communication was prompt, friendly and very helpful. I tend to make sure to write reviews for outstanding products and this is one of the best products with outstanding customer service that I have come across in a long time. I have not received anything in exchange for my unbiased review. This is the real deal. Just ordered a second one for my other Yak tonight. Usually have a critical eye; the only improvement I could suggest would be a quick release type buckle that once adjusted would be slightly faster on and off boarding.     • A Real Back Saver
I bought this to load a heavy (84 lb) Old Town wooden canoe onto my FJ Cruiser. It works like a charm. This switched my hauling task from a two-man job to something I could handle by myself. We traveled across the USA with our canoe and used this cart to load the canoe from the car to the water in numerous places including the Atlantic Ocean, the Pacific Ocean, around Vancouver Island, Lake Tahoe, Lake Powell, and many others. Frequently, I did not have close access to the water. I paired this cart with the Yakima ShowBoat Load Assist Including 66" Yakima Crossbars. The Yakima is a roller package that allows you to roll a canoe onto a car-top rack. I strap one end of the canoe to this cart and then load or unload the other end of the canoe onto the Yakima roller. This cart is well made with clean, finished cotter pins that are easily installed and removed so that the whole cart stows in a small, flat, mesh bag (included) that takes up very little space in the car and in the canoe.     • Elegantly engineered, easy to use!
After spending a couple hours researching canoe carts I purchased the Suspenz Smart Airless DLX Cart. Upon unboxing, I was immediately impressed with the engineering and how easy it was to assemble. Just pop the wheels on, insert the pins, cinch the straps on your canoe/kayak, and you're ready to rock! The other carts I looked at had so many moving parts and pieces to assemble that I could foresee all the issues when it came time to use it. Also, I had a question and called Suspenz directly. I spoke to Ian and retook the time to answer my question and give me some tips and techniques to optimize it's use. Bravo! ... show more
