I bought this so that I could control a living room mini PC connected to my TV from across the room. Even though Linux compatibility is not listed, I had no problems getting it to work with Ubuntu in both wired and Bluetooth modes. It also worked fine on a Windows 10 PC. Despite what another reviewer has stated, the included USB cable that I received does work to use it in wired mode. You just have to use the correct function key combination to switch to that mode. The ability to control multiple devices with different profiles is also a nice feature. The keyboard layout is smaller than standard size, of course, and so some keys are in unusual locations or require the use of the function key, but this is common for small laptops and Chromebooks as well. I've used many such devices in the past, so I did not find it hard to type with this keyboard at all. The touchpad also seems to work fairly well. I like that the touchpad uses the entire height of the keyboard (not just a portion of it like on most similar devices I've seen), so you have more room to move your finger without having to reposition. I also like the clickable area of the touchpad for the mouse buttons, as I prefer the tactile feedback as opposed to just tapping it (although you can do that as well if you like).     • Great little portable bluetooth keyboard
I have purchased other portable, foldable Bluetooth keyboards with touchpad in the past and they all worked reasonably well. The Erkovia works better than the others. The keys on the keyboard have a better tactile feel, and don't skip nor repeat keystrokes in error. And the left and right "mouse" buttons on the touchpad have a tactile click when pressed which I like a lot. But I specifically bought this one because in addition to the 2 Bluetooth pairing options, it has a non-Bluetooth wired USB cable option. You can plug a USB-C cable in to the keyboard power/charge port and use it as a wired keyboard - and I believe it charges the keyboard at the same time. Having a wired option is important to me as I use dual-boot devices and need to be able to access custom boot menus and bios setups which can't be done with just a Bluetooth keyboard as the Bluetooth drivers are not loaded until after the keystrokes need to be entered. I will advise that I thought the USB wired keyboard function was not working. It turns it does not work with a myriad of my light-weight USB-C cables I have collected over the years and added the included one before testing it. My observation is the wired keyboard function only works with higher quality heavier USB-C cables. So if you need this wired keyboard functionality and it doesn't work, try a few different heavier USB-C wires. With the right cable, it now works exactly as a wired keyboard should.     • For some people, just not me
To start off I really do like the folding design for this device. It folded nicely and had a responsive functional trackpad. However, even with my small hands, I had a very difficult time typing on this keyboard properly. The T key was tiny, and I often found myself pressing 2 keys at once. The real reason why I am returning this product is not the small T key or the weird split spacebar. It is due to the very tiny and weirdly placed backspace key which is an instant no for me, as well as the battery just not justifying the 40-dollar price tag.     • A bit small for my big hands to type normally, but an awesome tech tool for my bag
This keyboard works great, it connects in USB mode which was important for me as a technical person to get into the bios screens before Windows comes alive an the bluetooth connection is available. The touchpad is accurate and responsive. The keys are decent travel for being a compact foldable, and it does fold up to smaller than an open Samsung Fold phone, and does work both on bluetooth and USB mode as mentioned. The battery I haven't been able to drain yet, so I am not worried about having it in my bag for a couple weeks without worrying whether or not it has a charge. ... show more
