I had been using Matrix Solutionist Leave in conditioner when my salon operator suggested I try Awaken Mist leave in conditioner. I have lightened very fine shoulder length blonde hair and need a product to color protect, strengthen and nourish my hair. I have found it works great for my hair leaving it very silky and the breakage seems to have stopped. It also makes your hair easy to comb out after showering. My salon operator gave me a tip to not spray it directly on your hair but spray it into your hands and then massage it through. It is a thicker product so this application process seems to work better she advised. I did try spraying it directly onto my hair and it seemed to leave too much in one place and felt like it was a little tacky after drying and styling. The prices on Amazon were considerably less than at the salon so I will be buying from here from now on! ... show more

Absolutely love this. I have very fine thin long hair and haven’t ever found a product that didn’t feel like it weighted down my hair after use until now! Gives wonderful shine and feels so smooth afterwards even with my tangle prone hair.

This is a good value for the money. It is a little heavy on the hair so just use a light spritz. It is a little thick so it takes some pressure to spray it.

EXCELLECT product for fine, slightly oily hair that cannot handle too much typical conditioner on regular basis. I use this almost daily after awaken shampoo, alternating with surface protein spray several times per week. An amazing de-tangling effect and does not weigh hair down at all. Split ends have decreased considerably. Usually blow dry, but good effect if air dry also. I have natural and highlighted, very fine, shoulder length, light blonde hair, in my 40s. No build up or discoloration and hair still feels good at end of 12-14 hour work day. Been using since I first saw it after it came out and will be extremely disappointed if it ever gets discontinued!!! Highly recommend. ... show more
