Smell of leather is always good when receiving a package and opening it. The color of the boots are great. Tried them on and they fit pretty good. The extra insoles are cool but not sure I may need them. Never had shoes that didn't need insoles and that's expected for such a high arch I have. I think I have a boot addiction as I have so many boots and the construction on these seem pretty good. The soles are nice and thick but not too thick they feel life platforms and mostly don't feel like hard plastic that you will be sliding all over the place when coming across water so traction should be good. Since they are real leather water resistance should be good. But just because all of these things check out doesn't mean they will last long. Let's see how long they last. ... show more

Im not a review guy at all, but these deserve it. Bought a pair of these in August of 2025. Liked them but found them a bit heavier than the normal moc toe thorogoods i wore for 15 years prior. They were very comfortable and would've have lasted me longer but the leather on both toes wore holes through them from the type of work i was doing. Im a plumber/pipefitter and i was in crawl space with a concrete floor on a creeper on my stomach wheeling around replacing pipes, and dragging my toes on the floor everyday for 5 months.Did the same with my thorogoods and they wore through faster. These are my second pair and i guess they revamped them a little bit. The sole isnt as thick as before,(more comparable to thorogoods sole) and the lining isnt as thick as before. When they stopped selling the first versions of these i was bummed but really happy with these new updated versions. Wore them one week so far and they are super comfortable, more lightweight than the last pair, and more affordable. They are good. I had the seams start to come apart the first day, I work alot and didnt have time to return them. But it stopped so im not sure. Just dont kick things like you would with regular steel boots.

If you suffer from ankle pain in boots like me, buy these! Comfortable out of the box. They also have a low profile moc toe which I need to get my foot under my toe shifter on the motorcycle. The only disappointment is the gusset on the tongue only comes up to the 4th eyelet which means water will pour in around the tongue so you’ll need waterproof gaiters over top when riding a motorcycle in the rain. If you are reading this as the manufacturer, we’d pay more money for this boot with a full tongue gusset, that would be the perfect boot! Also, true to size. I wear a 10 and these fit great. They come with a comfort insole and a more thin insole. I found them too tight with the comfort insole so I used the thin insole. ... show more

Definitely way better boot inside than most boots but unfortunately they are way way too bulky for me. The right boot I couldn’t fully tie because how tight it was compared to the left boot looked completely goofy.
