I bought these boots to satisfy a safety and metatarsal requirement at my job. Now there are a few things that need to be mentioned here. For the price is something I’ll say alot cause for the price these boots will get it done. They’re definitely not on a throgood, Carolina or red wing level but for the price ( under 100 bucks) you can’t beat it. It’s definitely a Goodyear welt as the boot claims but trust me when they wear out it’s not worth resoling. The leather is definitely not a top quality leather as it looks to be fairly thin with a very heavy topcoat applied to it it’s also got a weird interior liner which is obviously hiding the cheaper leather but again for this price can you honestly say you weren’t surprised? In all truth I would definitely say this leather should hold up for a year in general industrial use. The sole is the biggest surprise in my experience as it’s fairly durable and after 10 days of mixed general use is only showing light edge wear. It’s a wedge sole and it’s definitely a copy of the famous vibram christy outsole. The advantage of this type of outsole is it doesn’t pick up stuff like a lug sole will and you don’t track stuff into your interior. The Wedge evenly distributes your weight and is more comfortable then most lug soles ( the trade off is a softer sole wears more rapidly). It’s a good boot if you need steel toe protection right away and can’t afford something better. It will also last long enough so you can afford to replace it with better gear when the time comes. Don’t be expecting top end quality but it’s definitely far above those shoes you see people standing on the nails with. They’ll get the job done and save you enough to replace em with something better

This boots look really nice out of the box. Although I have to say they are a little bit on the heavy side. However they are Extremely comfortable and fit just right so I am very happy with them.

These boots were immediately comfortable they have a lot of cushion, the leather is soft and it conforms to your foot rather quickly especially with some mink oil. At times I don't even take them off when i get home because they fit so well. The flip side of the soft leather is that it doesn't offer much ankle support or even foot support really, say if I'm working sideways on an incline. I have to be aware of trying not to roll my ankle more so than with other boots. I didn't want the waterproof version because I was hoping the non waterproof would breath better but these boots dont breath well at all, if any, they make my feet sweat and I dont like wearing them when working in the heat with pants. They have held up very well through three months of daily work except one lace just broke. The moc toe traps welding spatter Ive noticed. I like them but probably wouldnt buy them again for work, more like a casual boot to wear when its cooler and maybe get the waterproof version for like rainy days about town.

My foot got ran over by the tracks of a concrete curb paver machine that weighed excess of 21,000lbs. The steel toe insert didnt even buckle or bend or dent and the leather of the boots didnt even tear or cut. The machine run up my foot and ankle and about 8 inches up my shin and nothing was broken. Basically a major sprain and the doctors speculate that it may have dislocated under the machine and relocated after the machine backed off my foot. Crazy and im super thankful for this brand. Unfortunately the ambulance cut the boots off so i will need to order a new pair but thats okay. Worth it for sure!

These boots are heavy!!! I hate steel toe boots to begin with, because the upper part of my toes always rub the edge of the steel cap. I ordered these because sometimes you just have to have steel toes on some job sites. Unfortunately, even though they looked nice, they were heavy and the soles didn't feel very cushy, and they were really big for a size 9. Really really big! I was able to fit 2 or 3 fingers when I pushed my foot forward! They do include an extra pair of flat foam insoles to adjust fit, which is very nice and thoughtful. Unfortunately, due to the extreme size I had to return them. I'll be ordering from a major brand instead.
