So a few months after I got it I accidentally dropped it in a deep puddle while camping and thought I lost it forever. My boyfriend just said let's give it a few days and see what it does. Well, for the first 2 days the LED light on the front blinked on and off and even clicking the buttons did nothing to stop it. After the light was done blinking the light no longer works but the fan and the built in battery bank still both work as intended. The fan is very powerful on the highest setting even for a little fan and I'd say it lasts about 5 hours on high. Considering I mostly needed it for the fan not the light, I'm ok with the light not working but when it did work it was pretty bright even on the lowest setting. I would absolutely buy this exact fan again for sure. Edit: I took it with me camping recently and figured out the light still works but only with the remote it came with and not with the buttons on the fan which was a huge bonus for me. ... show more

This fan/flashlight is awesome. It even has a remote. Didn’t think I’d use it but I do every night in car camping. The fan is a good fan and produces a lot of wind and good for white noise. I bought one of these (orange) & loved it so much I purchased another (green). I use them camping, while traveling in the car, when sitting reading my book & when sleeping. They charge up quickly & I use them 4-5 nights on low before needing to charge them up again. The light is great to have too. The only drawback for using these at night is the small green indicator light that shows level of charge can be rather bright, so I position it in such a way that the light is covered up & not shining in my face through the fan. I appreciate the adjustable bar on it & the hook comes in very handy if I need to hang it. ... show more

I recommend NOT purchasing this fan! Unfortunately it kept fooling me beyond the return period. The Fan automatically turns itself on and runs down the battery (and I stopped using the remote control within the first day and that was almost 2 months ago. So the remote has nothing to do with the problem). Some days it seems to work fine but most days I find the battery dead. At first I thought it was a bad battery but then I noticed the fan coming on automatically. Also the remote control did not sync reliably with the manual push button. So the fan gets into weird modes that neither the remote control or the push button can resolve - that’s why I simply stop using the remote control. Not only this, but the led lights seem to make no sense in the sequence that they illuminate when charging or when running and the odd times when they start blinking. Finally the fan will not run when it’s charging. The written instructions are totally useless. It’s basically a FLAWED design and should be taken off Amazon. I bought another camping fan called “Mobile Fan model X20– FAN” that works perfectly! It also has a nice variable speed control knob and high-capacity battery - Angela continue to run when charging. ... show more
