For anyone who has never used open-ear earbuds before, they simply clip onto the outer ear with the speaker pointing toward the ear canal. Because of this open design, the sound quality won't be quite as rich or bass-heavy as traditional earbuds that go directly inside the ear. Since they don't seal off the ear canal, they also do not have active noise cancellation if that is a feature you are looking for. Both the charging case and the earbuds themselves feel very well-made and definitely do not feel cheap. The case also includes a handy LED display that clearly shows the remaining battery percentage and charging status. The main benefit of this style is overall comfort, your ears won't feel sore or swollen even after wearing them for several hours straight. If pure audio quality or deep immersion is your top priority, these definitely won't be your first choice. However, if you want a comfortable pair of earbuds to listen to music while staying aware of your surroundings and doing chores or working for hours, these are a great pick. ... show more

All I can say is what an awesome deal this was. I have an almost identical pair of Shokz headphones, that I have as a comparison. At first glance you see the charging case, which is pretty awesome, for it has a digital display that shows you how much charge is left, which lasts between 7 and 8 hours at normal listening levels. Then there's the headphones themselves, which are a rather good looking shiny black color, and take a minute or two to get used to placing them just right... what I mean by that is they hang from your ears, so the round part rests on the inside the canal, but doesn't actually go inside it like a traditional in-ear bud goes, which really makes it more comfortable to wear long periods of time... then the barrel shaped part rests just behind the flappy part of your ear lobe, so as a whole it almost looks like your wearing some sort of earring, but very tech savvy. I suggest before taking them fully out of the case, just open the lid and pair them first to your Bluetooth, and start playing some music, then after a few times you'll get the hang of wear to place them best. The sound quality is rather good, a solid range of highs and lows... of course the only way to fairly test them out properly is to play the opening of Money for Nothing by Dire Straits... a true test of your speakers limits, which I was thoroughly impressed... the only drawback is that there is no app associated with Superone to custom tailor your perfect frequencies, but most phones have some sort of equalizer built into its sound menu, and if not you can always download one from your app store. Recharging the headphones is done by placing them back in the case, which after a short time should give you enough charge to finish another movie or two on that flight over to Asia. The case itself uses a Usb-C cable, which seems to be the new norm no matter which new phone you have. My final thoughts are, although these earphones don't stay charged as long as my Shokz, I feel that the sound quality can hold its own, and what I love about this particular model is that it has a digital display to keep me informed, and most important is that you're saving roughly two hundred dollars by purchasing these, so what are you waiting for... place them in your cart and hit that submit button immediately !!! ... show more
