I recently purchased this rug for my living room, and overall, I’m really happy with it. One of the things I love is that it’s made in Egypt, which adds to its appeal. The quality is great for the price I paid - feels well-made. The only issue I had at first was a bit of a strong scent, which I believe comes from the ink used in the design. However, it dissipated within a day, so it wasn’t a long-term problem. The only other challenge I’ve had is getting the wrinkles out. The rug was packed super tight in a roll, so it’s taking a little longer to get it perfectly flat, I'm sure it will smooth out with time. The pattern and colors are gorgeous - really vibrant and eye-catching. It brings a lot of life to my living room and complements the space perfectly.     • won’t lay flat, colors differ from smaller ones
Several months ago I purchased 3 of these rugs, 2 runners and one 4 x 6. Even though the rugs are thin, I loved the colors so much I decided to finally purchase an 8 x 10 for our dining room. The colors are quite different on the larger one. The 8 x 10 is the deep royal (or navy) as stated. The smaller ones are more of a lovely medium blue that matched my decor perfectly. I like the lighter colored ones much better. So far the large 8 x 10 will not lay flat, I suspect we have a permanent buckle in it as another reviewer described. I have weighted it down and worked hard with it but the buckle just pops up in another place. I have mixed feelings about the quality this time. There are a couple of places where the pile seems damaged but since we will be using it with a table and chairs it will not be noticed. Overall I am not as happy with the larger one as I was with the 3 smaller ones. ... show more

I ordered the 8x10 in green, with the expectation it would cover the center portion of my floor, after deciding to transition from carpet to hardwood. Purchased and received within 2 days...FAST! The colors are stunning. Very classy. Cream white, slate blue and muted green is bright (not dark or dingy) The pile is low...but very soft. Does NOT feel cheap or stiff. My Bissell sweeper work great for in between vacuuming. The price is great too! Loved it so much that I decided to order the same rug in another 8×10 and the large runner. We updated or entire living room/dining room combo for roughly 225.00! I will update my review with photos when I finish paint and putting my room back together! ... show more

From the time this rug arrived, it never laid down right. One crease would show up, we'd flatten it and another would appear. These were creases that went so the way to the side and were a tripping hazard. I usually keep these rugs for about a year or so, clean them occasionally, and buy a different one on sale. I have two Cairn terriers and at this price point I don't mind buying a rug every year. But this one didn't make it 5 months. I'm concerned my husband or myself, or worse yet, a guest, is going to trip and fall so out it goes. I'll attach a picture to show you what we've been fighting all these months. I think there's a defect in the weave, but nothing I can do now. As soon as you get rid of one, a different one shows up. I give up. ... show more
