just ordered these blades. I have ordered replacement blades for other wood chippers and previous blades are so sharp, that you have to be really careful handling them, or they will slice you up. These blades are dull. Additionally, they are not packaged well at all, and when I received them, all four blades were just bouncing around loose in the brown paper Amazon bag. I suppose it's good that they were dull or they would've cut through the bag in a heartbeat. Very very disappointing. Very poor quality. ... show more

    • You have a chipper? You'LL need blades eventually,these are a good if compatible to your chipper.
I bought my handy little wood chipper a couple years ago, I have yet ro even sharpen the factory blades and I'm POSITIVE that they are in dire need of a good filed edge, but I am also just as positive that eventually they'll need to be replaced and no one had them in stock when I bought my chipper. These seem to be made out of a decent high carbon steel and at around 20 bucks.... if they last HALF as long as the factory blades then they MORE than paid for themselves. ... show more

New blades looked worn with small imperfections in cutting edge, looked like used blades but blades were new. New blades should be razor sharp with a smooth edge. They still work but quality control is horrible. Shows manufacturer doesn't care about what goes out, so buyer beware.

It didn't fit! I returned the item via hand off to UPS several weeks ago and received an email from Amazon that they had not recieved the return and would be charging my credit card again.
