I thought that my wiring was incorrect but when I called the help line they told me that I needed to turn on the switch at the battery charge indicator. I didn’t even know the switch was there. It is a little gray rubber-covered push switch at the back end of the battery indicator, right above the throttle (see picture). Once I pushed that switch, the dolly worked great. It would have been nice to have had that little piece of information in the instructions!! I have a 3200 lb 3-horse trailer with a 540 lb tongue weight. My trailer is over 23 feet long and my driveway is only 30 feet wide, I can’t turn the trailer around while it’s hooked to my truck so I have to unhook from the truck and turn it 180 degrees to get it pointed in the right direction to go back down the driveway. That’s why I bought this. I was a little worried because it’s a big warmblood trailer at the upper end of the capacity of this machine, but it handles it fine. I’ve used it probably five or six times in the last couple of months and it’s been stored in a shed that whole time when not in use. Even though I haven’t charged it, the battery is still showing full. The dolly works well, best advice is to GO SLOW. Just take your time and you won’t have any issues. If you try to go max speed you will run into all the same problems that people have written about on here. Make sure that you keep your trailer wheel close to the ground because if you try to go too fast, the dolly will have a tendency to tip forward and drop the trailer down. Having the wheel of the trailer close to the ground keeps the dolly from tipping too far. Also, keep some downward pressure on the handle and, again, GO SLOW, that will also help to keep it from tipping. If you have a heavy trailer, don’t make sharp turns. Better to do a 4 point turn at a more shallow angle than try to turn it all at once. If you try to do a 90 degree turn, it’s likely one of the wheels of the dolly will come off the ground and you will lose traction, the dolly will lift on one side. I have a cement driveway so I can’t speak to how this will work on grass or gravel, but I’ve seen other comments on here saying that you would need to change to tractor-type tires, and that makes sense. This machine does not have a brake function, so be mindful of that if you are using it on a slope. I would not count on this being able to stop a runaway trailer on a steep slope. I have a tiny slope on my driveway and it’s no problem. This is a great value, plenty powerful, you won’t find anything else out there that’s close to this price that will do the job that this machine does. You can get better machines but they will be twice the price. I did have an issue with the differential leaking but customer service was extremely helpful and responsive, and ultimately ended up shipping me a new unit. They were great. Summary: Turn the switch on at the battery AND at the battery charge indicator, GO SLOW, don’t turn too sharp, keep some downward pressure on the handle, and keep your trailer wheel close to the ground. If you work within the limits of the machine, you shouldn’t have any problems. So overall I am extremely pleased with this purchase. Great value, great customer service, GREAT machine if used within its limits.

I couldn’t be happier with this dolly. It saves me a ton of effort and energy whenever I need to move my SxS trailer. The steering design is excellent—it allows me to turn in tight angles and park on the side of my house with ease. Moving up my driveway, which used to be a real struggle, is now smooth and stress-free. On top of the great product, the customer service is outstanding. They’re friendly, understanding, and quick to help with any questions. It’s rare to find a company that stands so solidly behind their product, but this one absolutely does. If you need a reliable, easy-to-use trailer dolly, I highly recommend this one!

UPDATE - I called the number for problems / issues, as I said, they said they were sending me a controller so that this thing would work. They even gave me a Fedex tracking number. I checked that number daily for weeks and it never shipped. After several chats with Amazon I returned the item and bought from a different supplier at a better price. OH, by the way the company that sold me this is an Amazon start up. OK, it's easy to put together, but then it doesn't work. I called the service number and because the unit would not work after being charged, it was assumed it needed a new controller. They said they would ship me a new controller. I started going through all the wiring in the unit and found a wire simple hanging loose in mid air. I finally found a connector missing the wire and reattached it to the connector. The unit then started working .... sort of. There is a toggle switch on the handle bar that you push to activate the unit. On my unit the toggle feature DOES NOT WORK. To used the unit I must push in the Botton and hold it in with one hand while I attempt to operate the unit with the other hand, which is very difficult to do. I was told by the tech support that would send me another switch. We'll see if they do and if is possible to swap out. the unit that holds the switch. I have 30 days in which to return the unit. If they do not send me a new switch then I will box this thing up and send it back for a replacement. Now, how does it work. Good news, if you are on flat land and going straight this thing has plenty of power and can pull a very large trailer, no problem. If you have to make sharp turns, move the front of the trailer to one side, in order to get it straight, you are going to work hard to get it to work, it will, but you will need to deal with spinning tires. The good and bad news. This unit has a collar that you use a spanner to secure it to the hitch, which prevents the unit from simply moving forward straight up and flipping the ball out of the hitch. This new collar secures the unit to the trailer hitch and prevents this from happening, HOWEVER, this comes with a two inch ball, if you have a bigger or smaller hitch you will need a ball that fits it as the 2 inch ball will not work. If they ship me a replacement for the broken switch and it works, I will up date this review and give them more stars as I actually like the unit, it's too bad it had so many defects.

i was skeptical because of all the reviews. received package in one hell of a solid box. corners were messed up but not even a scratch on equipment. it's heavy and the delivery guy was small lol. took about 10 minutes to assemble. from the reviews I left the tires a lot less pressure than recommended. hooked up to my boat and trailer (3500lbs) and drug it out of the garage and down side yard no problem. batteries came fully charged. yes you have to pay attention to how much power you use on the switch and yes it will lift and move around on you but no issues whatsoever. made my life EASY!!! if you just hit full power on the switch it's going to spin all day on you. I barely use the power and moves it no problem. the angle finder on my side yard said 4 degrees incline and absolutely zero issues. I don't think they should cost this much for what they are but I would pay again for how much it saves your back lol. I also have a tandem trailer and it maneuvers it around with ease.

Easy to assemble, will handle the weight identified. This unit should have a parking brake, when on a slight grade, the trailer wants to roll away. The tires should have a more aggressive tread. I would recommend this unit be used on concrete or ashphalt driveway. Would not recommend for gravel drive. My trailer Weight is 1,800 lbs with the dolly rate of 2,800 lbs.

I can’t believe how easy it was to use this dolly! I have a trailer and a boat parked in front of each other. Instead of having to hitch my truck to move one, I use this dolly to pull one out with ease! Then back up my truck to attach to the rear trailer. The biggest fear I had was moving my 28’ pontoon. There was ZERO issues. It was so easy to navigate. Using the dolly, you’re able to turn the nose of the trailer more and not needing to use so much space to turn your trailer! I really don’t know what I would do without this! WELL worth every penny!

I purchased this to move my 2017 Boston Whaler Super Sport 130 into my tight garage. The boat is 13’ long and weighs less than 1,000 lbs. I estimate the tongue weight about 100lbs. My driveway has a small slope. This machine worked great in the garage on a flat surface. But, the slight grade on my driveway was a challenge. It left tire marks all over as it tried to get enough traction to move the boat. I think if I practice with it, I will be able to use it. It is just barely able to move the boat with a lot of work on my part. This mover does not have a brake so it would not stop the boat from rolling down the driveway. I had my wife put a wheel chock under a tire to stop it...using it is not a one person job. It has two small batteries and a servo to drive the gearbox. It was easy to assemble and built well. Very solid construction. Although the instructions show how to wire it, it came almost completely wired. It came with a 2” ball and adjustable height mount. You may need a 4”x4” block to set your trailer wheel on so you don’t have to crank up the trailer to reach the lowest height of the ball. I think this will work on lighter weight aluminum boats weighing much less than 1,000 lbs if you have a small grade to your garage. I really can’t imagine moving 3,600 lbs...even on a flat surface.

Easy to setup, small in size yet mighty in pulling capacity, is a little shaky but with some elbow grease, is much better than the manual versions by 1000%! Recommend for less than 1,500lb, battery doesn’t last long
