Our compact design requires low headroom Includes Industry Standard: Dual Pawl Brake System, (2) Ductile Drop- Forged Safety Stamped Latch & Swivel Hooks w/ 360° capability. I work on power lines and this thing is perfect for tightening guy wire on single phase poles. It has enough strength for the smaller jobs without having to use the big, heavy chain hoist. The best part about this tool is that it is light and compact. The only minor flaw is that the handle is very short, making it hard to get leverage. This hasn't been an issue but would be its only flaw. I read that some people had issues releasing it, but I don't understand how thats an issue if you know how to use a hoist. If you are a stubborn person who doesn't like to ask for help or just need a versatile lever hoist, this is the perfect tool to give you an extra hand. Works well and is a solid lever hoist. It's small size makes it very handy and convenient. Have used higher priced ones and this one is identical in performance. The handy nylon pouch is also a nice bonus to store it or carry up a ladder. When you put in neutral the chain doesn’t want to push through freely you have to Manually turn to free chain.

I work for a scale company picking up exactly 1000 lb blocks. I wouldn’t use this for 1000 lbs. more like 500

    • Great compact tool. I'm glad I purchased
I like the size for confined places underneath a car for example. I highly recommend this for suspension work, alignment and engine removals. The chain is small but holds just fine and has plenty of lenght. It is not cheap but works flawlessly.
