I am, honestly, extremely impressed with this sealant tape. You get a good amount for what you pay and it is no joke in terms of strength. Despite how thick and gooey it is, it is surprisingly easy to work with. I needed thinner strips for connecting two tarps together for a canopy roof and I was able to run a pair of scissors lengthwise down the tape without any snags or mess left of the scissors. The tape bonds easily and well when pressed against the fabric. I even used a piece to patch a hole in a section of tarp that was being pressed tightly against a screw head and now the screw doesn't stand a chance of puncturing through anymore. Last minute purchase before Hurricane Milton. We always have flooding on our porch which goes into our family room through the sliders. We purchased this tape as a last ditch effort to try to lessen the flow of water. During the cat 3 hurricane with record rainfall, this tape prevented water from entering our home. It sealed us up and we watched the water inch up the sliders 7 inches past the top of the tape. We really dodged a bullet using this tape. The water could have been in our home! ... show more

This review is for: "Super Waterproof Duct Tape and Patch for All-Purpose Seal Repair...." Pros: 1) Great to have on hand for emergency repairs. 2) Seems like an emergency patch job could last pretty long with this tape depending on the type of surface and conditions of use. 3) Good thickness. Tips: 1) The tape and adhesive will be extremely difficult if not impossible to remove (especially the adhesive) once placed. 2) The price seems to fluctuate, but it can be a bit high for what you get, so consider purchasing if it is being sold at a low sale price, or make sure that there are no better priced options (with equivalent reviews) on Amazon's vast and excellent array of products. I will update this review if needed based on positive or negative experience(s) after further use of this product. At first I was going to give this tape 5 stars because it adhered to my dryer duct so well and sealed up any holes. I used it as directed and read the label carefully to make sure it could be used on ducts and with heat (no fire risks). The label said it could be applied to ducts and withstand high heat which is why I got it, but after I ran the dryer 3 times it started to peak away. After 2 weeks and regular use (about 3 loads a week on normal heat) it came off. Guess that isn’t one of the extreme temperatures it can supposedly handle. It might work better when applied somewhere else so I don’t want to totally dock it. Maybe it’s better with or outdoor applications. I was bummed it didn’t work, I thought for sure it would because of the adhesive and how it formed so well around the pipe. I don’t currently have another use or need for it, but I’ll try it again somewhere else if the need arises to see if it works. ... show more

I use it to help with leak prevention, it's completely waterproof high quality and super sticky. As for functionality... It gets the job done. I actually bought more rolls of it. Awesome product I highly recommend it!

Please don’t waste your time using this tape for pools. It does not work I’ve put it inside where the hole is at and outside and it wasn’t wet it was dry when I put it on and it’s still leaking.
