I am not usually one to write a review but this was delivered yesterday and from the second I opened the box I was impressed. This is such a great piece, beautiful craftsmanship, sturdy and easy to put together. It is the perfect size for indoors but would be nice outside as well. Some of the reviews had me nervous but this guy was worth every penny.

I am the husband of the Amazon subscriber. My lovely wife thinks the two nutcrackers we ordered are amazing. I completely agree that they are beautiful, however I was expecting something closer to "perfection" for the price. The instructions include "disclaimers" about how the manufacturer has improved the shipping containers to "avoid any damage to the legs", but they can and should still do better. Engineering suggestion #1 (to the manufacturer): Add a Styrofoam barrier between the nutcracker's body and the leg packed adjacent to the body. In both cases the adjacent leg was gouged and paint was scraped off due to contact with the body. (No damage was noted to the bodies.) Engineering suggestion #2 (to the manufacturer): Tightly secure the bolts in the body to which the legs are attached. As we received them, it took several attempts to tightly attach the legs as the bolts themselves turned in the body as the legs were added and I had to engineer a change. They will make a beautiful decoration on our front porch for all future Christmas seasons.

This Nutcracker Soldier will not disappoint the most discerning individual! It arrived in pristine condition in a compartmentalized box housing the pieces that build the nutcracker individually....it arrived without any scratches, paint chips or missing parts! I am thrilled there was great care in packaging this now-dubbed Family Heirloom! I will purchase a second one to ensure I have another 5 foot King Soldier Welcoming my guests and guarding my front door! SIDE BAR: I had searched high and low for several years and many other vendors only carried plastic or metal Nutcrackers which were not to my liking and am so happy to have found exactly what I wanted on AMAZON!!! Kudos to CDL for providing such a great product, timely shipping and transparent communication.

I ordered the 6ft. Dark blue glitter King. I was nervous from the reviews but I took a chance and it's better than expected. It is 6ft. exactly. I collect nutcrackers so this is a huge deal to me. Packaging was great too. Well protected. I admit there are some minor touch ups and a small crack on the back leg but nothing major. The hat/crown is around 1 ft. rough measurement. This is amazing. Shipped fast too. Was here in under 7 days from time I placed the order to when it came. Here are some photos for visual. I'm around 5 ft 8 and our tree there is around 8 feet. I was nervous on size but this is really awesome and is 6 ft.

i sent this back because it was damaged. I received 1/2 my money back they took out taxes and restocking !!! CHEAPly made!! Not sturdy the legs would not screw all the way in which made it unstable VERY DISAPPOINTED THey don’t stand behind their product
