  • A Lifesaver for Quick Fixes!
Color: Black Size: 1" x 12' x 20mil
I recently used Rescue Tape by Bond It to fix a leak in a well pipe, and I couldn’t be more impressed with its performance! The tape is super easy to apply—just stretch and wrap it around the affected area, and it bonds tightly to create a durable, waterproof seal. The instructions were clear, and the tape worked exactly as advertised, holding up even under pressure. After applying the tape, the leak was sealed instantly, and it’s been holding up perfectly ever since. It’s a great solution for emergency repairs when you need a quick fix without the hassle of professional tools or services. It also works on various surfaces, which is a nice bonus for future repairs around the house. The quality of the tape is outstanding, and it really does create a strong bond. I’m confident this will last for a long time. Highly recommend it for anyone needing a reliable and easy-to-use emergency fix! Pros: • Easy to apply • Strong, waterproof seal • Works on various surfaces • Great for emergency fixes • Durable and reliable Cons: • None so far! ... show more

  • Great rescue tool, not a gurantee fix
Color: Red Size: 1" x 12' x 20mil
I used this to patch a leak in my power steering hose before I could get around to replacing it. It was an oily mess in a tight spot, dealing with a pinhole leak that developed right after changing the fluid, so I couldn't really get a good seal. It did slow the leak so I didn't have to add as much fluid and gave me some time. Probably works best on water based/ radiator hoses than on oil based situations. Good enough that I keep a roll in my car with my emergency kit ... show more

  • A temporary fix, great find!
Color: Yellow Size: 1" x 12' x 20mil
I decided to give this a try after seeing the reviews. I have a leak in my kitchen sink on two PVC pipes. My landlord is very slow to fix things, so this was my temporary solution. (I don't want to move because my rent is exceptional and the neighborhood is great) I tried this on one side and used the whole roll to be absolutely certain that it would stay in place. Like other reviews mentioned, it is difficult for the tape to stick to anything but itself. I found that when I started wrapping the tape, I needed to hold one spot in place and then stretch the tape as far as I could and then start wrapping it around itself. Once I had the first wrap done, it was very easy for me to start building the other layers of tape around it. I ordered another roll for the other side of my sink and it has seemed to be holding up pretty well on each side. They have both been wrapped with tape for around 2 weeks. I noticed a tiny bit of leaking the first two-three days after wrapping, but now I see no leaks at all. I think over time, the tape fuses to itself more. I had to keep buckets under my sink for a long time and now I don't have to worry about them anymore. I understand that this is a temporary fix, but this was much easier (for the moment) than hassling my landlord or trying to replace the sink myself (which I really don't want to spend the money on). My advice to others would be to take your time while wrapping the tape around whatever you need to. If you have a bigger project, I would suggest buying two rolls at a time to be safe. It's quite easy to run out of one roll if you're not paying close enough attention like I did. I am satisfied with my purchase and it has provided me peace of mind with leaky sink pipes. ... show more

  • “Best tape I’ve ever seen” -my plumber
Color: White Size: 1" x 12' x 20mil
TLDR: works like a charm, comes off perfectly when the time comes. Trying to install a bidet, the plastic of the intake pipe lacerated on the bolt of t-shape water redirector/splitters, ruining any chance of a watertight seal on it. I tried silicone caulk which couldn’t hold up to the water pressure. So I bought this as an alternative to something like flex tape to try to fix it. It held up well to the pressure and perfectly sealed the leak, and I mean perfectly, and looked honestly pretty alright since it was the same color as the toilet. Unfortunately I had an entirely different piece of the decade-old plastic parts of this toilet break which resulted in me having to get a plumber. The plumber had to remove the tape to replace the intake/overflow mechanism. When he carved into it with his box cutter it peeled away perfectly - presumably since it was self adhering and wrapped tightly - and actually it pulled off some of the caulk too (He called it “like surgery on an animal” and was so surprised and delighted by how easy it was to get off, especially seeing how tightly wrapped I had it (it stretches!). So, PROS: -Easy to use -Easy to remove -Looks alright -Cures in 2 minutes! -Doesn’t stick to your fingers -No protective equipment needed CONS: -Can be a little difficult to apply to tight areas (like most things, to be fair) ... show more

  • Not for plumbing
Color: Black Size: 1" x 12' x 20mil
My pipe started to drip at the point of the solder joint. I bought this tape hoping to seal it so as not to re-solder or change the connection. I tried it twice; the first time, I probably didn't tighten it enough (although I tightened it well), and water oozed between the seams, which are supposed to be self-adhesive. When I tightly wound another layer, it started to drip between the pipe and the tape. I cut it off and very tightly wound it in three layers. It seemed to work fine, it even stopped dripping anywhere, but after a few hours a bubble began to appear at the leak site. Of course, it became larger over time. As a result, I cut it off, cut out the connection, and replaced it with a push-to-connect fitting. This tape is not intended for plumbing ... show more

  • Very little on the role.
Color: White Size: 1" x 12' x 20mil
For the price, needs to be double the size. Haven't had to use it for what it is for and hope it stays that way. But works and clings and stretches.
