Ok so here’s the deal. It IS like sleeping on a cloud and it IS fluffy as crap. I love it. I was reading reviews where it was given 1-3 stars before I got it. Couldn’t figure out why some people said it wasn’t thick and fluffy, etc. YOU HAVE to WASH it you dirty butts! It is vacuum sealed so for “x” amount of time it is squished into this small bag, air tight. When I got it out, I was like, “ugghhh...it is flat....but I’ll wash and dry it and give it a try”. Sooooo after you wash and dry it, it gives it the fluffy shape back and you’re good to go. Word from the wise, WASH any new bedding you purchase!! Not only because you don’t know where it’s sat in a warehouse with dust and it may still have debris from where it was made in a factory, they do NOT wash it for you. If you buy directly from a dept store WASH!! Aaaaand even if it’s new and bought from a nice dept store or wherever, you run the risk of bedbugs these days. If you wash and DRY, the heat from the dryer will kill any bedbugs or their eggs. Wash your new bedding people. This items arrival was met with much anticipation I already have an ikea topper on my mattress but it’s a few years old and was never quite as soft as I had wanted. When the package arrived I kissed the delivery man as one would, in gratitude. My back had been hurting much like I imagine Melania’s soul hurts after having her monthly carnal sessions with the orange one , you know, for the rich lifestyle she sold her soul for Upon opening my precious , and taking it out of the vacuum sealed plastic I was mesmerized by how much it grew ! Before my eyes it became triple in size. Now if only a custard ice cream could be as magical I may never worry about the demise of western civilization again ! Ever! I placed this cloud on top of the ikea topper already on the bed cause you know, double wrapping is always a safe bet , especially in this age of disease Well let me tell you. It’s marvelous ! A gift from heaven ! Like laying on a cloud , but without the falling to earth to your death part. I haven’t left my bed in a week.     • Helps relieve hip pain

Earlier this year I bought a TempurPedic mattress because they're supposed to be so great at relieving pressure points and, thus, related pain. I had slept on an inexpensive memory foam mattress for a number of years and as time (and age) went by I found I woke with hip pain. I didn't do much research on the right type of mattress to relieve hip pain. Instead, I went to a mattress store, explained my issues, and was steered to the TempurPedic. I bought it and it was okay. I think the hip pain may have improved a little. It wasn't until I came home from vacation when I slept in "regular" beds that I realized the TempurPedic wasn't working for me. I hadn't noticed on my vacation that my hips weren't hurting in the morning. The first morning after sleeping at home, the hip pain was back. Of course, this was well past their 90 trial period so I was stuck. I had read a (too late) that a plush top is best for hip pain. So I searched on Amazon and found this topper and the good reviews specifically about relieving hip pain. I've used it for about a week and as of this morning I can say I didn't wake with pain. I'm sure it will come and go, but any day without the pain is a better day. I would highly recommend trying this topper if you suffer hip or even lower back pain. ... show more

My husband and I bought an extra firm mattress, as needed by me. The mattress was perfect for me, but my husband was miserable. Short of returning the mattress, we decided to try a mattress topper that would make him happy, but wouldn't affect the firmness I need. I went to a number of retail stores looking for a king sized topper, but was really disappointed with the quality of what I saw. I decided to look online, and found this one. It listed hotel quality and was extremely reasonably priced. We received it yesterday, and used it for the first time last night. We are thrilled. My husband slept so well that I had to check his breathing to make sure he was alive. He never moved all night. This is a must buy for anyone that has purchased a mattress from one of the online mattress companies (Helix, Casper, etc). Our old yummy kingsize pillowtop mattress reached its end of life. Instead of dealing with the hassles of going to a mattress store, we opted to try the online mattress buying experience since they come with a 100-day free trial period. Well, I HATED the mattress the first week, then tolerated it the next two weeks, but really missed the pillowtop feel of our old mattress. Instead of throwing in the towel (er, mattress), I decided to try a fluffy mattress cover. I spent a couple of hours shopping and reading reviews and settled on this one. I was so excited to get this in the mail, as I opened it, you could clearly see that it has been previously used!!!! Not even attempted to be washed, just vacuum sealed and shoved in a bag. Absolutely disgusting! I have NEVER EVER experienced something like this!!

I’m revising my review. I bought the mattress topper. It was mediocre I terms of added comfort. But I got it because it said you can wash it. 6 months later my cat threw up on it so I washed it. The cotton got all lumpy everywhere. They LIED!!! You cannot wash this. I wrote to the company for an exchange. They ignored me. I wrote back a few weeks later. They still ignored me. Hence this review. Wasted $100. Would give negative stars if I could. ... show more
