Gorilla All Weather Waterproof Tape is an ideal solution for outdoor repairs. Made with incredibly strong, permanent, butyl adhesive and a weather resistant shell, this tape withstands even extreme weather conditions. Gorilla All Weather Tape resists drying, cracking, and peeling caused by sunlight, heat, cold, and moisture and works in both hot & cold temperatures.Great for tarps, plastic sheeting, roofs, vents, RV's, and all general purpose heavy duty repairs. Gorilla All Weather Tape contains a highly concentrated rubber based adhesive and sticks to most plastics, including polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP). Gorilla All Weather Tape does not work on materials with high oil or plasticizer content, such as EPDM rubber or PVC. An acrylic tape, such as Crystal Clear Gorilla Tape, may be better suited for these materials. Gorilla All Weather Tape should NOT be used as an electrical tape.Directions: 1. Cut or tear desired amount. 2. Apply tape to a clean surface. 3. Rub vigorously to ensure strong adhesion.Store tape flat on a non-delicate surface.Note: All Weather Gorilla Tape is made with butyl adhesive that might feel a less tacky but is strong and permanent. Very durable. It kept our garage screen cover intact since the screen tore off a little bit. Regular tape its unravel due to the climate but with this, it kept it sealed. Definitely sticky that I had to store this in a ziploc bag cause the outer part of the roll is sticky too.

This stuff finally solved our insulation issue with our floor to window AC unit. No other tapes would continue to stick to the window frame for more than a few hours from the heat output. I tried 4 other tapes and was about to just caulk it when I found this. This FINALLY heat proofed the window and held against the heat output. No heat leaked inside, no cool leaked out, everything was finally calm and settled and working. It was an amazing feeling. Now... taking it off... lol. Let's just say a couple months later and the window frame is still covered in black glue that we just haven't wanted to deal with attempting to get off of it. That's the only downside to this tape. It's super thick, super sturdy, surprisingly easy to rip, and does it's job without complaint. It STICKS to anything - I'm pretty sure I lost my fingerprints taping that window up (kinda funny but also serious). So if you're here looking for a tape to stand up against the summer heat and a floor AC unit vent, you finally found it. Relax, click purchase now, and wait for salvation, lol. Works awesome!! Tape is super sticky, works great indoors and outdoors. So far it hasn't dried out or started to peel unlike how other tapes do from being out in the elements. Can use it on pretty much every and anything. Only negative and it could've just be my roll of it is, when pulling the tape off the roll every few inches it becomes almost impossible to continue to peel..     • Perfect solution for hole in a grill cover

My grill cover got a hole from rubbing on the brick exterior in the wind. The new cover is somewhere in the neighborhood of $70 and I figured it would just get another hole, so I was looking for a solution to patch the hold rather than replace the cover just to replace it again. I came across this tape and thought I'd give it a try, worst case scenario, I have to replace the cover. I have to admit I was nervous given the reviews. I would comment that there are several types of Gorilla tape, not clear if some folks have had experience with some of the others and commented on this or what has happened, but for me this worked just as they claimed. When I opened the wrapper it seemed like the edges of the roll were stickier than the average duct tape so I was wary as some reviews mention this being incredibly sticky but the product description states it should not be overly sticky to the touch. Once I started to pull the tape off the roll, which is a little tough, I found the product description to be accurate. I did not have any sticky residue on my fingers. I did have trouble tearing it, so I used scissors to cut it and no residue left on the scissors. I cleaned the surfaces the the grill cover well and layed it on a flat surface so the tape would be sure to stick and apply flat. I applied a piece to both the inside and outside of the cover. Instructions say to rub vigorously once applied, which I did. I do have one edge that seems to be less sticky or not adhering as well as the rest, it happens to be the first edge that pulled off the roll. I'll have to keep an eye on that and see if it starts to pull up or if I'll need to try to pull that piece off and try again. If so I'll update on that process. Overall, it seems to be as advertised, application was super easy, and we'll see how it holds up to the summer weather. This tape works really well. It is very sticky, but you can pull it apart if you need to as long as you have the strength. I wanted a black one as I was taping up my garbage can and it would be outside so it needed to withstand the weather. So far it's working.

Bought this tape because the Taneau cover that came with my new truck melted at the seams and dripped black tar all over the place. Used this tape to cover over those seams to prevent further damage. So far it has held up nicely in 100* heat and even went through the automatic carwash without coming off. Definitely recommend buying this tape if you want your tape to stick. ... show more
