Description

Gorilla Waterproofing Tape instantly seals out water, air and moisture. With an extra thick adhesive layer and UV resistant backing, this flexible tape conforms to form a permanent bond indoors and out. At 4 inches wide use it to patch holes, cracks, gaps and tears, even underwater. Excellent for Home, auto, marine, camping, RVs, outdoors and more. Will work on plastic, metal, aluminum, rubber, wood, vinyl, glass, steel, acrylic and much more. Gorilla Waterproofing Tape can be applied in hot, cold, wet and dry conditions. For best results, apply the tape to a clean surface at room temperature: 1. Keeping liner on the tape, cut tape to desired size. Tape size should be larger than the repair area, extending beyond all edges. 2. Remove the release liner and place tape over the desired repair area. The tape cannot be repositioned once applied. 3. Rub entire surface of the tape aggressively, especially the edges. Storage: Store tape on the top and bottom disc at room temperature. Edges of tape may be sticky. Service Temp: -70°F to 200°F. Performance will be dependent on surfaces & conditions. Surfaces must be clean, smooth and non-porous. Water must be pressed out from underneath tape. Not for use on seams, applications under pressure, or automotive applications under the hood. May not adhere to silicone or water-repellent materials. Do not use to hang.     • The strongest Tape

This stuff is goooood. Update...had to use this when the wind blew a shutter off and snapped the screws. Put the shutter back on with glue which couldn't hold the shutter by itself, so I doubled up the tape and it wasn't going anywhere. Have had several windy days since and still holding. All previous repair below still holding and during winter began ripping in other places. I bought another roll and made emergent repairs to get through the winter months until the pool liner was replaced. ///// used it on my inground pool liner after it developed several holes in a spots from a failing 9 year old vinyl liner. It has lasted all season through the winter and into spring Also used it taping moving blankets together for floor coverage during the whole remodeling for 6 month's. Held together and in fact ripped the blankets when removing the tape. Recently used it on my trucks under carriage splash guard that fell down. The only negative is the ends of the roll are verrrry sticky so you have to store on its side. Overall would definitely recommend and buy again. ... show more

Used this to patch a few holes in a blow-up Intex pool; worked pretty well, but could have been better. Sealed on both sides and still had a bit of leakage, but nothing terrible. Super, duper sticky and will stick to itself, so just be careful when you're unpeeling it! Cuts nice with a normal pair of scissors, and the white was nice and not noticeable on the surface I used it on. ... show more

Pleasantly surprised that this stuff works underwater. I bought this thinking I’d use it repairing a bath tub, but I didn’t need it. Fast forward to my easy set swimming pool springing a leak. I applied this to the hole on a seam underwater. My wife stood on me while I was in the pool to keep me at the bottom so I could use a diving toys smooth edge to rub the patch in place. I don’t know if this is a permanent fix or not, but it’s holding for now. Super pleased I didn’t have to drain the pool. You just peel off the backing, apply to the hole and rub it in place. ... show more

Heavy duty stuff that's an absolute pain to remove. The adhesive used is serious business and not designed to be removed, but I had to remove about 7' of a botched tape job so here's what I did. Used some high-leverage pliers to carefully remove the outer tape covering, but this left a terrible residue that I then used a combination of a heat gun, goo gone, a plastic scraper, an extendable razor blade, an eraser wheel drill attachment that I had to keep cleaning off on the sidewalk, a rag and good old elbow grease. Even with all these it took several hours to just remove the residue from a small segment. The residue removal process did not strip the paint off my aluminum gutters. Be absolutely sure about placement the first time or you will regret it. ... show more

Bought this to cover holes and cuts in a gutter downspout I had to reuse. Tape is easy to mold to an area and has a very strong adhesive that keeps it in place. During a very heavy rain I noticed that none of my patches leaked.

I pretty much never leave reviews, but this stuff is amazing! We filled our new to us pool, then discovered we had a hole towards the bottom. We tried patching it from the outside with permanent vinyl but failed to stop the leak. I ordered this tape, hoping it would work. We cut a square and rounded off the corners. We pushed in from the outside to find the hole, peeled off the backing, stuck my hand into the water and slapped on the tape on to the hole in a pool full of water. Several weeks later and the tape is holding. Worth every penny. ... show more
