PROBLEM: Our car had 5 fairly prominent body dings: Driver door (1), trunk lid (1), driver side rear wheel well (3). THIS TOOL: Product came packed extremely neatly and carefully. Very professional kit and includes a fairly complete set of the stuff you need. PROCESS: Degrease the dented area with alcohol. Attach one or more of the provided tabs onto the door with hot glue. Wait a few minutes for the glue to cool Use the gold anodized puller tool to exert a smooth steady outward grasp on the tab and pull the dent. HINT 1: Eventually, the glue fails, leaving a glob of hot glue on the car, but (hopefully) a smaller dent than before. You may need to repeat this process 2 or 3 times per dent.) HINT 2: The hardest part of the whole process is getting the glob of hard glue gun glop off the car once you finish HINT 3: Even glue removal is not that difficult. In between pulls, just get most of It using the scraper tool. HINT 4: I found that if I coat the blob with liquid car wax, scraped off bits do not smear around and adhere again. Like using peanut butter to remove chewing gum, the wax prevents the chunks from reattaching. Wipe again with alcohol afterward to ensure the next tab will stick. HINT 5: Some dents may pull out beyond flush. If your hot glue adheres really well, you could actually raise a small lump in the sheet metal. This is not a problem, however....a little hammer is provided and a soft tool you can use to gently pound any proud areas back down. I got them close with the tool and then rubbed a strong heavy cloth-wrapped thumb with firm pressure over the repairs, pressing heavily into the steel. This actually smoothed out the metal almost perfectly. SUMMARY For the most part, this system did a really good job. It pulled every dent outward, improving the looks of each one. DISCLAIMERS 1) We had some dents that were apparently made by some sort of pointy object. Those did not come out 100%, but they still look much shallower 2) Directions are somewhat in Chinglish, but much better organized than most and with great photos.

The reflection of the lines on the vehicle will be more than enough to see the dent imperfections. I was not real sure this would work because it seemed hard to believe that hot glue would hold strong enough to pull a dent out. It does! I had a fairly deep ding in my door after the grand kids slammed the other car door into it. I had tried suction cups and they did not pull the ding out. I tried this PDR Tool. Hot glued the small round puller plug to the top of the ding and used the spring loaded puller. Pulled back and forth for a few times and then increased the pressure a little. The puller then pulled the plug off the door leaving the dried glue on the door/ding. When I removed the dried glue I was amazed to see that about 75% of the ding was gone! I repeated this same procedure about 5 more times and each time it removed more of the ding. The ding is now completely out. I know where it was because there was a small chip of paint that was removed from the door banging. I used a scratch remover cream I got at the auto store and it cleaned up the glue marks and reduced the appearance of the scratch/missing paint. The creme put a new plastic coat over the area and the door looks very good. I pulled 3 dents out of my truck that had been there for a long time. One dent was about 3" in diameter, another about 1.5" and the other was a ding. This tool pulled them all out and my truck looks great! Just know that you have to repeat the process several times to get the dents and dings out. I am very impressed with how this tool works.

Light only works with power cord Battery doesn’t charge and light will not come on. Instructions would also be an added bonus Other than that it’s a decent tool. Yes the arm is stiff but you can work with it.

As a autobody shop owner, This thing is below trash- it’s literally a cheap LED light with black stripes on it. Professional and proper lights eliminate better and create proper reflections. You can use most professional quality lights in most lighting scenarios. This thing though? Your not even getting a quality LED- your getting a light that has no power to it. When doing any PDR, It’s extremely hard to use this— and even worse if your trying to do it right. The brightness, the poor lines, the poor reflection, the cheap batteries, the usage of nonstandard charging input power, the fact that it came without a battery cover, The list of negatives go on. Do yourself a favor and spend more getting the right tool for the job- this one is not the one.

Bad design. The flex arm is extremely stiff, it's a solid aluminum shaft, no ball joints. The vacuum anchor is very cheap, it's the typical Chinese crap. I replaced the cheap parts with better ones. In retrospect after my added cost it would have been cheaper to buy a better unit. The lighted board works well with the 3 brightness levels.
