Description

This small protective 10.62" hard case is great for storing cameras, electronics, tools, and more. Pluck and pull foam along with sturdy design will safely store sensitive items during travel or on the go. This case is IP67 waterproof, dust proof and shockproof. The hard case includes three layers of foam; 1egg-crate top liner layer, 1 pull & pluck customizable layer, 1 solid bottom pad layer. The compact case dimensions External: 10.62" x 9.68" x 4.87" Inside: 9.25" x 7.12" x 4.12". An innovative pressure equalization valve allows the case to quickly equalize to different air pressures when traveling from different altitudes. A rubber gasket lines the rim of the case, when latched closed creates a waterproof seal. Two padlock hasps allow this case to be secured with padlocks and meet TSA requirements for transport. All Eylar waterproof hard cases are backed by a limited lifetime warranty.

I’ve several of these and never had a problem. Not cheap but they do what they say on the tin and seem indestructible. I pay for these to protect equipment that sometimes costs about the same as the case but I’d replace the delicate tool or whatever several times if I didn’t have this case. I needed a watertight, rugged box to build a rechargeable battery box for my kayak. It had to be large enough to hold my 18ah lithium battery, connectors and switch, but small enough to fit in the front hatch of my kayak. This one was a perfect fit and based on other reviews, I felt it would be a good choice for being a dry box. It does have a rubberized O-Ring around the inside of the lid to keep water out. I will have to use a Dremel tool to take off a bit of plastic here and there to make the connector mounts fit - but It is a DIY project and I expected that. This is a impact plastic case that I use to store GoPros in one and other small cameras in another. The interior foam has separated sections that you can remove to create your own design. Had one on the back of the car, fell off and slid down the road before I noticed in my mirror. Scuffed the exterior a little but everything was safe inside. I imagine it will float in water as the seal around the lid can feel pressurized when opening. I’ve used this case for a few years now, no complaints. Decent product! ... show more
