Preheat the gun for 2-6minutes to soften the adhesive. Press the dent in time to maintain the adhesion. Clean surface, heat glue, attach tab, pull slowly. Practice on an old panel first if no experience. Will hot glue damage my car paint or leave residue? No. As know, the hot glue won’t corrode paint. Remove with included alcohol spray or plastic scraper – glue peels off cleanly. How long does one dent take? 5–10 minutes after practice: clean (1min), glue tab (2min), pull (4–5min), remove glue (1min). First time ~15–20min. Are tabs reusable? How many dents per glue stick? Tabs are reusable (clean off old glue). One stick does ~5 small dents; 10 sticks handle ~40 dents. Can it fix dents on body lines or creases? Harder but possible with multi‑angle tabs (V‑shaped, L‑shaped). Beginners: start on flat areas. Deep creases may need a pro.

⭐☆☆☆☆ – Did Not Work and Caused Additional Damage I purchased this kit hoping for a simple paintless dent repair solution, but unfortunately my experience was the opposite. First, the instructions did not match the equipment included in the kit, making setup confusing from the start. Second, the glue tabs repeatedly popped off the dent before any meaningful pulling force could be applied. Instead of pulling the dent, portions of the glue remained stuck to the vehicle and required additional cleanup. My biggest concern was the recommendation to use alcohol on the repaired area. After following the instructions, I experienced dulling and scuffing of the paint finish. I later spoke with a professional body shop, and they advised against applying alcohol to automotive clear coat surfaces in this manner. As a result, I now have the original dent plus paint issues that were not present before using the product. To make matters worse, I attempted to file a claim through Sedgwick, Amazon’s insurance administrator, but have received little to no response regarding the damage. Based on my experience, this is not a true paintless dent repair solution and I would strongly caution others before using it on a vehicle with good paint. I ordered this because I have a dent in my refrigerator door that I've been wanting to try and fix for ages. The bad news is that this kit didn't work for me. BUT! Not because its not a nice kit, but more so because of the way my fridge door is made - the foam behind the metal dent was damaged too, and no amount of pulling was going to fix that. The good news is that I also happen to have two old trucks that have a LOT of dents and I spent an afternoon learning how to use this dent kit for what it's actually made for: pulling dents out of car doors. I watched a few YouTube videos and got to work. I was skeptical that I actually had to GLUE the little anchors to the actual truck, but that's how it works. Glue the anchors on and then use one of the many different pullers to slowly "pop" the dent back out. Magic! 91% isopropyl alcohol spray took care of getting the glue OFF the car when I was done. It honestly took some trial and error to get it right, and I'm still far from an expert, but I understand HOW to do it, and with time, could actually see myself fixing a dent. I gave up on the truck dents because I don't really care how they look, but will keep this kit on the shelf for future use, if necessary. I told my neighbors about it too, as they walked past and asked what I was doing. It's a great kit to have on hand to share, as it comes with lots of glue and anchors. ... show more
