I have a few minor dents on my car that weren't quite bad enough to justify professional PDR (Paintless Dent Repair) but were annoying enough that I wanted to try fixing them myself. This Super PDR auto body hammer set, specifically designed for aluminum dent removal and PDR, seemed like a good kit for tackling those smaller imperfections. This kit includes an aluminum dent hammer and a variety of interchangeable heads (15 different ones!) made of different materials or shapes. The idea is to use the hammer and these specialized tips to gently tap down high spots or work around the edges of a dent to massage the metal back into shape without damaging the paint. Aluminum hammers are often preferred for PDR because they are lighter and transmit less shock to the metal compared to steel hammers. The variety of head shapes is great – you get different sizes and profiles for working on different types of dents or body lines. Nice small auto body hammer set, key word being small. If you're working on a classic car this likely can't handle the heavier metal. The set is a good value and are made very well. The multiple tips that are equally interchange are a great feature. This hammered works quite well for the size and in some situations the lighter weight is a must. I think more modern body work will be perfect for using the kit on being you need less weight to tap out dents and dings. Overall very happy to have the body panel hammer it is a nice set.

I tried all that I could with the little suction tool I got for dents but this is what really got them out. It was quite magical, lol. The hammer itself feels nice and solid and it's slimmer handle makes it so easy to hold and work with. All the different tips are great, allowing me to change them according to my needs. I never thought I would be able to get the dents completely out, but this was the tool that was missing from me.

A great PDR Hammer! This hammer is well made and well thought out! It has removable heads and is supplied with 15 different heads that will allow me to do most anything I need to. I like the ability to have both heads removable, letting me fit th 2 heads I would use in the same process on one hammer. So instead of having to pull the hammer out and swap in another one with a different profile head, this hammer lets me just rotate the head around and keep going. The hammer body is made from cast aluminum and has a nice balance to it, with a good weight for the job. The heads worked well for me and fell like the rubber will hold up well over time. A great starter hammer for those just getting into PDR.
