I was super excited to order this hammock because it had great reviews. However I have only had it for less than a month and after one night of rain it is ruined. This product is promoted as water resistant but the morning after a night of rain showers the hammock held onto the water and is not stained, smells horrible, and after several days out in the sun it is still holding onto water. I would not recommend this product.

Very sturdy and appears well built. I put mine up at my campsite and laid down in it to test and five minutes later was falling asleep. This hammock is large enough for me and my two granddaughters to fit in or just perfect enough for me to be greedy and really stretch out and catch a nap. It really is very comfortable, unlike a rope style hammock that you can feel the ropes digging in to your flesh this has solid support for your entire body. I have not had it long enought to speak on cleaning it or sun-fading but I don't plan on leaving it out when I am not using it so there shouldn't be an issue.

The hammock is comfortable, getting on it is tricky as the fabric has a slippery sheen to it, twice I have fallen trying to get on, once horizontal, tranquility! Thankfully the 13-15 foot steel base I bought at Home Depo had extra chains, as the chains that came with this hammock were about 6 inches to short. I plan to bring the hammock inside during rainfalls so i can’t comment on the weathering effects.

The first rain left markings all over the fabric. It took over a day for it to dry. On top of it, the surface is very slippery, making it very uncomfortable as you constantly have a risk of falling slipping and falling.

I love this hammock. I purchased it for my back porch so that my daughter and I could swing together. It’s very sturdy and comfortable as hammocks go. I do bring it in when I know it’s going to rain just as extra precaution to keep it from mildewing.

The hammock is huge and very comfy. It was left outside and got wet and started to get moldy. Other than that the hammock is great, we are just upset about the mold spots.
