Within days of getting my new apple pencil I had already dropped it on the ground when it slipped out of my hand. Then my hand started getting tired from feeling like I had to hold it tightly at all times for fear of dropping it again. I tried other grips, but with the case I have on my ipad I have to remove the grip to charge the pencil and the other ones were too hard to get on and off to make it practical to do it every time I wanted to put the apple pencil away for charging. This is a very nice case for the pencil. After seeing several YouTube videos on them. I decided to give it a go! Got the Rose Gold to match my cases and iPad! Also for those with arthritis, it makes holding the pencil much easier! The nibs work great and keep your taps quiet. If you want to write or draw fast though, I’d suggest taking off the nib. The pencil will not fit in your cover cases where the pencil would be, when closing any flaps on them like the popular ESR one. But on the tablet itself , it does charge the pencil while in this case. Overall I’m quite pleased with this. Though, word of warning, when you start playing with the end wear the clip is, it does come apart as much to my surprise, found out! The silicone rubber feels smooth, (think like iPod hybrid cases). UPDATE JUNE 21, 2021. After using it a few months. The tips do become very loose from taking them off and the pencil. As such I’ve already lost one, and the one I have on it is very loose now too. Using the smaller disposable tips you can buy on Amazon might be better if you want to save these for travel and such. UPDATE 7/16/2021: As I’ve already said in my previous review. I’ve lost two of the nibs out of the three they give you. They become very loose after awhile of taking them off n on. So I sent an email to SUPCASE! Now I’m impressed! They responded right away after I explained what happened. Since it’s still obviously under warranty, they promptly said they said out a replacement! I got it the same week(though thru snail mail) that I had initiated my concerns with them. I even told them I’d gladly pay for extra nibs if they would’ve shown me where to order them. So, a definite kudos to a company that actually stands behind their products and warranties! Wish sites where you purchase stuff had two sets of reviews. The sleeve is compatible with my iPad Air 4 magnetic charge. If anyone is interested in having a case for your iPad (like I did), I would recommend the TiMoVo case with the cut-off charging edge (remember cut-off edge only or the magnetic charge is useless). Overall, 9.5/10 product, elegant design, and solid writing feelings. Edit: Since this is a thick sleeve, the double-tap feature is heavily affected—meaning you have to double-tap very fast and very very hard for the function to work probably. However, since I have a high pen holding position, I solved this problem by just pulling the sleeve a little bit upward, and the product works fine for me. ... show more

Had one of these for my first gen pencil and had to get another for my second gen. I couldn’t live without this grip. It’s great protection and it’s very comfortable to use. My only complaint is I have to take the pencil in and out to charge it BUT it’s minor considering all the other perks. It still sticks to your iPad just won’t charge in case. ... show more

I got the rose gold sleeve and it's cute...but you're going to use all of the extra caps. They fall off extremely easy and protecting my tip was the main reason I bought it so, needless to say, it's not meeting all of my needs.

Then after some search i found this one, I hope this seller would spend some money on marketing..... cuz this one totally rocks!! I really wanted to love this case. I love how it feels in my hand, but the pencil doesn't charge on my ipad. It's too much of a hassle to take it on and off to charge. Other than that, I loved it.
