I got this for my 2023 M2 MacBook Pro - and this is quite possibly the best MacBook protective cover I've ever purchased. I'll start with the bad, to get that out of the way. This thing is a BEAST. It adds SO much heft to the already heavy MBP. It's kind of obnoxious. One of my pictures shows the thickness related to a 2019 MBP. BUT, I spent a lot of money on this (INCREDIBLE) new M2, and I want to protect it. This case will do that, and honesty, I kinda like the way the extra weight feels. The kickstand is amazing. I was a little unsure, but I can't believe how much I use it. It's partly metal, feels good, and has 3 different heights. It's really really solid. The rubber feet on this are a ZILLION TIMES BETTER than the native stupid Apple feet. For this high-end of a laptop, I'm surprised Apple makes the feet so slippery. Not so with this case. They are rubber, and feel really solid. Your MBP will NOT move on a surface. It was super easy to put on. But one other negative, it really shows lint/dust - and I'm going to predict scratches pretty easily. (you can clearly see the stuff it's already collected in the picture) The clear parts are SUPER GLOSSY - which I don't really care for, but it's OK. if it gets scratched, I'll start my sticker collection. Until then, I'm leaving it as is. I REALLY wish there were other colors, but I'm OK with the black/clear, particularly with the Space Gray finish. Bottom line: when I reach into my laptop backpack, grabbing this thing takes a little more effort. But I actually like it.

This is an excellent case it has good protection; I’ve dropped my brand new laptop a few times with this case on it and the laptop & case are just fine, thank goodness. I would change one thing, but I don’t even know if it’s possible, and it’s a no fault of the case, it’s because of Apple. I wish there was slightly more cover or protection on the bottom edge when the laptop is open. Once again, this is Apples fault for making the edge of their M1 and M2 cut into my wrist as I type. I have a different case on my M1, a leather one that goes around the bottom edge and it protects my wrist. A tall order but thought I’d give it as a suggestion maybe for the next release?? Anyways, this is a fabulous case; sturdy, well built, protective, easy to put on and looks great!!! I highly recommend it.

This case is VERY well built! There is definitely a thick buffer between the MacBook Pro and anything that could damage it. Fairly easy to install, requires some elbow grease but once it's on, you know for a fact this thing was a solid investment...literally...solid! Couldn't be happier, and the stand is a genius idea that works flawlessly. Yes, it is heavy BUT I promise you would prefer to keep your MacBook Pro safe! Absolutely buy this thing if you care about your laptop's safety.

As someone who has used a gaming laptop before, I personally don’t mind the extra weight this laptop cover adds. However, if you’re concerned about your laptop becoming significantly heavier, this might not be the best option for you. But if the added weight doesn’t bother you, like in my case, it’s a great choice. The built-in stand on the back is super helpful, so you don’t need to carry an external one, and the hinge for switching to different positions is very durable. I’ve had it for a long time now with no cracks or issues!
