Well, after five years with my S10+ I decided to finally spring for a new phone. I always kept my old one in a transparent hard case that provided more "scratch" than "drop" protection. That phone was much larger than this phone so it was a tad bit easier to hold onto. I am a freak for babying my phones and I have never, as of yet, broken one (knock wood)... I do a lot of research when deciding what to purchase and pay attention to both user and vendor ratings. After adding about 15 different covers to my "wait" list I whittled down the list and ultimately chose this cover. My purchase arrived the next day, on time and in perfect shape. I immediately opened and inspected the well protected contents which included both the cover and TWO screen protectors. There were also instructions to help you apply the protectors correctly. I easily affixed the cover to the phone and put the protectors back in the package as I didn't need them. The cover is made of a grippable plastic which has both hard and soft characteristics. It does take a little effort to get it on the phone but if you insert the phone fully into the upper rim it is then a simple matter of squeezing down the sides of the phone which pops it into place. The fit is perfect and everything aligns correctly to the corresponding buttons and cutouts. You have ample room to plug in the USB-C for charging and data usage. There is a very nice metal(?) "click stop" stand on the back which should, with proper care, last a long time. There is also a sliding shutter which protects your camera lenses from fingerprints and scratches. I find myself forgetting to open the slide since I have not had this type of cover before but that tiny inconvenience pales in comparison to fingerprinted, scratched or (God forbid) broken lenses. I enjoy the rather "industrial" look molded into the cover. Since I didn't install the screen protector(s) I cannot address their viability but I imagine, in keeping with the quality of the rest of this item, they would do their job admirably. Honestly, at this price point, I don't see how you could go wrong. It is designed specifically for this phone, made of quality materials, is very nice looking on the phone, contains excellent extra convenience and/or protective features and is sold at a very reasonable price point. Get it, you'll love it! As always...if problems arise...I will update as necessary.

The design lives up to it's description. Very durable and it fits my phone perfectly. I love the kickstand, I use it at work on my break to watch TV or read the news. Worth the money, I bought 2 of them.

This is exactly what I wanted and needed. It fits perfectly, alitte extra snug so won't fall off. Gives great protection. And I love the camera sliding cover. The otterbox is 3x or over 6x the amount depending on the model and in my opinion is less protection than this. The huge cut out in back leaves cameras exposed to possible damage and no coverage or protection at all. And I didn't see how they were much thicker or better in any way. This case is absolutely PERFECT for me and the price just makes it amazing!! I'd definitely buy again!!

I really like the red case, but completely disliked the plastic screen protector. I had my wife's phone fall on the road with a glass protector, and the protector was shattered but the real screen didn't get a scratch. Plus, the screen protectors have defects, and one of them has a dent in it.

I love and hate this case. I love it because the damn thing has a death grip on my phone, so I know no matter what my phone won't be randomly popping out of its protective armor anytime soon. However, I also know that I'm going to have one hell of a time just getting the damn thing off my phone when I need to change the protective screen or some other reason requiring the bare phone. Cuz getting this case off is tough, which is a good thing but really annoying at the same time. Great case!

Fits the phone well. Stiff to get in and stiff to get out. It is all relatively hard plastic, no rubber at all. Makes me think that if it really dropped hard on the edge, the case itself may break since it is rather brittle. Looks good though. I like the camera lense slider cover. The little kickstand ring is annoying though. I don't partiuclarly use it, but feel that if I did, it is a bit too flimsy and I can see it snapping off, so I don't fidget with it much. It came with some nice screen protectors too. If I need a new case, I'd propbably peruse other options. This one was okay, just not a favorite.
