You can make five different dinosaur robots with this set. It comes with only one motor. Motor is rechargeable with (included) USB charger. I did not put mine all the way together because I intend to give it to my grandson for his birthday. But you can tell by the pieces and the manual that this is good quality. The user manual/building guide is a BOOK. There are 328 pages for instructions on building the dinosaurs and using the motor. The pieces come in separate bags that are clearly marked with a number corresponding to the dinosaur you chose to build. The blocks are of the same quality as most brand name building blocks, and snap together well. The directions and product are NOT for little kids, but teenagers would love this project; especially since they can change it up anyway they want to. You get a LOT of blocks for the money, and they are of good size (not mini, and not too large). They also have an educational value of teaching mechanics and motor movement.

I built a few of the robots with my 10-year-old over the past week, and we’re both hooked. The 935 pieces go together well, the app and remote control work smoothly, and there are five different robots to make. It’s challenging but not frustrating, and he’s learning coding and engineering without even realizing it. Great gift for curious kids!

I purchased this set to give to my 10 year old as a Xmas gift. He is currently sitting with his dad trying to assemble one of the Dinos, and they are both getting extremely frustrated. The instructions fine, but the pieces are difficult to find in the many different bags. There doesn't seem to be any organization to which pieces are in which bag, so they've had to open every bag and dump them out to find each piece that they need. This, in turn, means that it's taking an inordinate amount of time to build each step. I can't imagine my children (even my 14 year old) having the patience to make this on their own, even though they often construct complex Lego sets on their own. Once the pieces are found, however, they do fit together nicely and seem durable. I do think the price is comparable to leading brand building block sets, considering this set includes a remote and an app. I also like the educational aspect of this set, but I think the age range should be adjusted to, perhaps, 14+.

We ordered this as a gift for our six-year-old son and I was a little bit worried that it would be too complicated with too many pieces, but he was actually able to play with it. This really was an item that is better adult supervised because yes, it does have a lot of different pieces and requires instructions. However, that being said, there were multiple different portions of the different builds that we were able to instruct him on where to start in the book and he was able to follow with the images as long as we were nearby to ask questions. He had a ton of fun building this and once all of the pieces were put together, they stayed in place well and felt like a decent quality and thickness. All of the electronic components worked well and functioned like they were supposed to. The remote control operated everything accurately. This is a great price for such a fun toy for my son. Actually, both of our kids ended up playing with it - my daughter is 9 and still found it fun to put together and control with the remote!
