I assembled the tree outdoors in anticipation of needles shedding, and surprisingly it was very minimal! The tree needs to be "fluffed" out during assembly, but the final product is cute, classy and totally christmas! It wasn’t too hard to put together, I did it without instructions. The tree is as tall as advertised and works well with 8ft ceilings. It still had room for the star. While fluffing the tree, three twig pieces broke off and had to be wrapped back on. That never happened once in the 20 years I had my last tree, the one this is replacing. It makes me feel like it won’t age well. It also is prone to rocking and swaying if touched. It was a good price and I got a nice tall tree, I just hope it lasts. ... show more

I got the 7.5 ft tree. When you take it out of the box it will be boneless, but after fluffing it’s perfect. Definitely worth $60, trees smaller than this at Walmart were almost $150. Other reviews mentioned a weird smell but I didn’t notice anything on mine. Barely any shedding even when fluffing. I love it, get one. ... show more

For the height of the tree the cost is very reasonable. The base is terrible and no locks/screws were included to keep the tree in place even though they are apart of the product. I guess it was left out of the box. Took a bit to fluff up but it looks fine. I just can’t bump into it or else it’ll move uncontrollably because of the base. ... show more

I was apprehensive about purchasing a fake Christmas tree from the internet, but I decided to take a chance with this tree and I am so happy that I did! With the global pandemic, the kids being home from school, and the year 2020 just generally being a giant dumpster fire, we thought it would be a nice idea to decorate for Christmas early. We always have a live tree that we cut down ourselves and we enjoy the tradition of doing so, but this tree will do just fine this year. Set-up was easy and relatively quick; the entire process took roughly 30-35 minutes. With Christmas music playing in the background, it really was a painless procedure. When first assembled, the tree will look very bare and not very good - but do not panic! - the tree will look great once you take some time to fluff out the branches. The base isn't the sturdiest base and so we reinforced it by placing Christmas presents around it. It works fine for us. We do have cats, but they are too old and large to climb the tree. If you have animals that attempt to climb Christmas trees, you may have to reinforce the base or attach the tree to the wall in some way to prevent it from toppling over, but that is the case with all trees. All in all, I would recommend purchasing this tree! The price is great and it looks wonderful! Merry Christmas to all of you! ... show more

PROS** - Non flammable material - True to height - Branches easy to spread out and manipulate - Looks beautiful, received many compliments. - Easy to hang ornaments on, not heavy ornaments, may require finesse to rest on other branches or it will fall off. - Tree arrived packaged nicely and non wastefully (Not huge packaging or using a lot of packaging materials.. doesn't take up a lot of space) - Easy to put together ( 4 parts minus aside from the stand, however I wish they were numbered so you knew right off the bat which one goes on top of which) **Cons - Some of the black material fell off as I put the tree together but not much, not even a handful. - Takes up a lot of time to spread the branches to how you would like it.. took me about 2 hours to get the tree to my liking. - The tree sections do not attach together with a clicking mechanism to hold it in place.. so for example if you go to grab a section and lift, you're going to seperate the tree from whatever section..I did this twice when I went to go move the tree's location. I looked at a lot of choices for black trees and I couldn't decide.. took a chance on this one and I am very satisfied with my purchase and would recommend it!
