After waiting more than five weeks for delivery of a similar item from a big-box home improvement store, I cancelled that and ordered this. Arrived in less than a week. Good quality materials. Assembly instructions were clear and easy to follow. Assembly was straightforward and required only a screwdriver and pliers. Fit and finish on all the parts is excellent. Seems sturdy and we anticipate it lasting many seasons assuming we take care of it properly over the coming Michigan winter. We bought it mainly for the sound. It's kind of loud (which is good) and reminds you of someone filling up a bathtub. If you are looking for a gentle trickling sound, this not the water feature for you. But it does a very nice job of masking the roar of the neighbors' central air conditioning units. The flow rate from the pump is adjustable, but it's still a vigorous stream even at the lowest setting. Overall, I'd recommend this item highly. ... show more

Packed nicely . It arrived in tact. Delivered two days ahead of schedule Took 15 minutes to put together. You will need a Phillip screw driver and a pair of pliers to hold the nuts that hold the two teirs together I’ve only had it for a day it works well and looks great. I do have one concern. It’s raining out and I noticed that the grain on the plywood that supports the two barrels grain is starting to raise. I’m not sure it was the best material to use out doors. They do advertise it for outdoor use . But I will wait and see. I may have given this 5 stars if they used weather resistant material rather than plywood. UPDATE: Its been a week now since I first set it up and has rained pretty much everyday. Seems to be holding up well. ... show more

Just what we were looking for. Had an issue with holes not lining up but that's what drills are for. Enjoying the sound of the water. Wish the power cord was more discreet looking from the back but otherwise solid piece will enjoy for years we hope.

The fountain looks nice but it is faulty. The metal pump spout is already rusting after just a week and a half. The fountain leaks and is causing the wood to start to split. Not worth the money!

The first unit I received had a huge crack in the vinyl liner of the upper barrel and the pump would not thread onto the PCV supply line. I was promptly shipped an entire replacement unit which arrived in one piece and assembled well. These are pretty nice units at a fair price as long as you are handy with tools and have some patience. Their short coming is quality control. ... show more

Looks good, solid building material, should last quite some time. Getting the pump under the plastic pipe was a bit tricky, I had to use a wooden wedge to help keep it pinned in place, not a big deal. A bit of water will splatter out as it runs so you want to place this where a bit of water won't ruin anything. ... show more

Once set up this has worked beautifully, except for the errant leaf that clogged the pump. That being said the pump ran all night without water and didn’t burn out. I installed the handle to the right (as it would have been) just fine. Just don’t know why the makers of these fountains don’t use solid black tubing because you can see colors of the plastic tubing in the water. Had a little algae growing after 2 months so bought drops. After gardener comes I have to clean pump because leaves and grass get in and clog. Without full sun I only have to add a few drops of chlorine and a 2-gal pitcher of water each week. Love the sounds. ... show more
