I bought this to replace an old deteriorated cotton hammock. This is a synthetic material, not cotton as I was expecting ( I think it is described as cotton). However, it seems soundly constructed, and I know it will dry quickly when rained on. The quilting is light which is fine with me--not sure a hammock actually needs to be quilted. I like having the light pillow and I like the neutral green tan color that harmonizes with my garden. I made an erroneous assumption that it was the same length as my original hammock, which it is not. It is probably 10-12" shorter. My mistake for not measuring what I was replacing. The chain hardware that was included was not long enough to fit my hammock frame, so I had to scrounge up one length of replacement chain in the garage to make it fit my frame. Fits well now. The length is fine for my 5'5" height, but my 6'1 husband thought it was a little short. The length is not really a fault of the product, but do check that it will fit your frame before buying.

The hammock was delivered in a timely manner. It’s very comfortable and the quilted fabric is perfect for the cooler climate (I live at some elevation). It might be too warm for a hotter climate. Well constructed with heavy duty hardware.
