I got this because it was concrete and fiberglass which is much more durable than resin. We have the fountain up and running (just recently) and all components work (pump, etc.) We placed it in our backyard. Also using distilled water to preserve the pump, but it doesn't use that much water. Pleasing sound, nice effect. Would recommend. ... show more

Love this fountain.....no assembly required just attach the pump to the tubing, fill with water and enjoy. (I'm 73 so not having to assemble is wonderful). I only had to adjust the pump so as not to have splashing and it looks great on my patio. I always spray a little clorox clean-up in the water to keep it fresh (a few bubbles make it fun). I have always had a small fountain in my yard and this is the best one, made well!!! Thank you for a great product!!! ... show more

I will say I initially had some doubts the more I looked at this fountain while assembling. My brain started to say it looked like a head stone. I’m not going for a cemetery vibe really but to each their own! Honestly, this fountain has exceeded expectations. If you find it splatters you can lower the water pressure with the dial and add some stones to your center water dish. This will lessen the waters impact. No more splashes on my tile! The water is soothing and we fall asleep to it without distraction. After raising the fountain off the ground and adding the gold patina, I really do recommend it! ... show more
