Needed something for a bare corner behind a recliner and this looked like it was perfect. Ordered based on previous reviews. One day after it arrived I got an email from the company expressing that if there were any problems with the lamp to let them know. Unpacked the lamp pieces and checked instructions. They were very easy to understand! It took less than 10 minutes to assemble. The only issue I had was getting the lamp shade brackets attached with the clips. I quickly figured out that I needed to have the brackets inside the shade and work from there. Once I determined that it was a snap. The lamp has a floor switch and a remote and a light bulb. Once assembled and plugged in it was seamless to operate with the remote. The base has a nice heaviness to it and the metal pole pieces assemble for a tight fit. So glad I purchased this. Also if customer service was needed I feel like (based on reviews and the company’s email to me upon receipt) any issues would be handled immediately. Would I buy other things from this company?     • Great Floor Lamp - Secrets for Success

I received the floor lamp and could not find the lamp shade, so I reached out to the seller who got back to me very timely. Customer service really is EXCELLENT. When you open the box all the parts come in a piece of styrofoam with cutouts for each piece. The lamp shade is rolled up in the under side of the styrofoam. When assembling the lamp you will see the instructions mention item C referencing "Nut" with a picture of a piece that looks nothing like the actual "Nut". Keep this in mind when following item 10 of the instructions that state "Lock the lampshade on the lamp holder with the lamp nut". The actual nut is NOT a loose piece that you will find in the styrofoam packaging. It is a round piece of plastic that is already attached to the lamp holder where the bulb is screwed in. Simply remove the plastic piece by rotating it off and then proceed with the bulb and lampshade and then screw the round plastic piece back on to hold the shade in place. Great floor lamp for the price. The remote control really adds ease of use. I purchased this for an empty corner of my living room and I think I will buy another for extra light in my office. Very pleased with this purchase and the customer service behind the product. ... show more

I bought this lamp in Feb 23. Both my wife and I loved it immediately. The preprogrammed options (which are able to be modified when using, e.g. make it brighter, dimmer, whiter etc). We are using it in a TV room and so mostly just set it on night light unless we need to read something and switch to Nursing Mode which is the same color temp but brighter. The while light option are great if you need a lot of light for detail work. In summary, the lamp looks great, does the job we bought it for, and is easy to assemble and to use. Also, customer service is great (see next paragraph) After about 6 months, the remote stopped working. I contacted customer service via Amazon. Customer service emailed me the next day and offered some simple solutions which did not work. I let them know and they responded again with 2 more options one of which was a brief video. BINGO, light re-paired with the remote and all is well again. I have no idea how it got unpaired but my 20 Y/O grandson had been visiting and using the light just before the remote stopped working. There is a footswitch for turning the lamp on and off.. I think the footswitch was undere a rocking recliner. Apparently if you cycle the footswitch on and off 10 times it unpairs the remote from the bulb. I think he may have accidentally done thats. ... show more

This lamp was a very pleasant surprise at how cool it is for the price! It was easy to assemble, as the cord was already threaded through the sections that go between the base and the shade. The coolest feature is the remote!!! Not only can you control the brightness of the light, but you can also change the "color" (kelvin) of it! You can adjust it from a very soft golden glow to a bright blue white color with just the press of a button. There are also several pre-set colors for reading, computer use as well as midnight feedings of a baby. And the remote is also MAGNETIC!! You can stick it to the 'shaft' of the lamp so you don't misplace it! The shade has the look of linen and is a wonderful addition to our beach house. ... show more

I purchased the lamp and contacted customer service as I thought the nut that attaches the lampshade was missing. They promptly sent me photos and a video on where the part was located. They said if I could not located it they would happily send a replacement. For those wondering, the nut is fastened to the lamp where the lightbulb goes, I had been searching in the box & packaging. Ever since we got this lamp for the my daughters nursery I have really loved it. The dimming ability and light color adjustment is such a great feature to have. However when had a power outage and my lamps remote stopped working. I could only turn it on and off from the foot switch. I decided to reach out to Customer service and they were quick to respond with a solution. And it worked! Here are the troubleshooting steps they sent me!! 1st step to troubleshooting... Turn on the lamp with the foot switch and check whether you can turn it off with the remote. If you can turn it off, then the remote control is working properly. If the remote can not turn off the bulb, you can long-press the power key on the remote for about 5 seconds until the bulb starts flashing. Then the remote will work. If the first method does not work, you can also try these steps: Decoding Process Step 1: Turn on the lamp with the foot switch. Step 2: Press the foot switch 10 times. When the bulb flashes, the decoding is successful. Pairing Process Step 1: Turn off the lamp with the foot switch after decoding, then turn it on. Step 2: Long press the power key on the remote (about 5 seconds). When the light flashes, the pairing is successful. ... show more
