Two kilograms of decent filament at a solid price. The PLA+2.0 is noticeably stronger and more impact-resistant than standard PLA, which makes it better for functional prints. Dimensional accuracy has been consistent and I have not had any tangles or feeding issues across multiple spools. The grey color is neutral and photographs well. I print with this on a Prusa and a Bambu and both handled it without needing profile adjustments. One thing to keep in mind is that this filament absorbs moisture if left out, so store it in a dry container between sessions.

I've used a good variety of PLA+ type filaments, including older formulations from Sunlu and plenty of various other brands such as but not limited to Overture, Inland, eSun, Geetech, Prusament, and Polymaker. I've got multiple 3D printers and have been used to varying my slicer settings to match my filament and model. That's to say this has been a hobby of mine for years now and I'm used to tinkering in it. I can't get this stuff to print well. No matter what I do, ANY kind of overhangs (even the first layer after infill / first top layer) with SUNLU's high speed PLA plus 2.0 are atrocious. I varied print speeds, bridge specific extrusion parameters, temperatures, fan speeds and more. Nothing was working. I genuinely thought my machine was broken for a bit until I swapped to a different spool of filament to see that everything was just fine. Despite even trying <200C, lower than the rec'd range, the filament is just too low viscosity. It doesn't set quickly enough without fans and then at medium or high fan speeds the drooping is actually worse since it's so loose that the fans shove the extrusion down into the print gap more instead of setting it into place. I get that it needs to be low viscosity to more easily hit volumetric flow rates of high speed printing, but this is just too far. Just absurd. If I were to give it any props the spool itself is pretty solid. It also does do very fast walls without issue unlike many standard blends, although that doesn't make up for the fact that it's basically unusable in every other aspect. Maybe I was unlucky and got a bad batch since it seems somehow people are getting this filament to work well for them, but I will not be buying this stuff again when there are plenty of other alternatives on the market.
