I have 1 on each of my ams units. At first I would use the timer function and set it for the max to keep it running. I found out this would cause the tape holding the end of the spool to loosen and mess up at the end of a roll. After getting an error on one of the units for a thermistor, I had it warrantied and replaced. Since then I have left them set on the RH% setting and set the percentage I wanted. They only come on when needed now and I feel this is the best way to use them. Since install, I have noticed a difference in the print quality with reduction of issues that I was having. They aren't loud at all either. Sometimes I forget they are even running. They fit nicely and assembly wasn't hard at all either. I honestly love the squared off look and appearance as well.

What can I say about a product that has an excellent reputation in the 3D filament market. It installs on top of the Bambu AMS Pro perfectly and keeps my filaments at a constant temp with low humidity, which is crucial to a successful print.

This is a great add-on to the Bamu Lab AMS-1. I wish I had known more about 3D printing when I ordered my Bambu Laps PS-1 with AMS, but I did not. After learning more about filament moisture, I really wished that the AMS-2 (has a built-in heater) had been paired with my printer. Instead of replacing my AMS-1 with an AMS-2, I purchased this add-on heater unit. Installation was rather simple. The hinge hardware was well thought out, and they even give you a spare hinge set in case you break one in the future. I was impressed with the fit and feel of this heater add on. If it were not for the "SUNLU" logo and opaque cover, one could mistake this as a Bambu upgrade. For the price, you cannot go wrong.

I run a business selling 3d prints. The original AMS was becoming a hassle between living in FL with the humidity and juggling dessicant. Filament was still showing signs of moisture regardless. Picking this up was a game changer. It can dry while it prints and the quality of prints have been coming out without the usual signs of moisture and the quality has improved noticeably. It's the perfect size and looks fine. I haven't noticed a smell and it doesn't affect your filament storage. It can be noisy while running but overall it's a reasonable tradeoff.

This was a great upgrade for my AMS1. Printing with PETG has been a breeze since it just stays dry with the RH (relative humidity) mode turned on it keeps the humidity down at all times. Easy to setup and attach following the instructions. I highly recommend if you use filaments that are hygroscopic.
