I’ve got this installed on my original AMS and set to the automatic RH setting. It seems to be working great. Very easy to install and includes everything you need. I like that I can dry and print at the same time. I haven’t had any issues with filament becoming soft.

I run a business selling 3d prints. The original AMS was becoming a hassle between living in FL with the humidity and juggling dessicant. Filament was still showing signs of moisture regardless. Picking this up was a game changer. It can dry while it prints and the quality of prints have been coming out without the usual signs of moisture and the quality has improved noticeably. It's the perfect size and looks fine. I haven't noticed a smell and it doesn't affect your filament storage. It can be noisy while running but overall it's a reasonable tradeoff.

I was given an AMS 1 from a friend of mine, and it sat around for ages until I ended up buying a Bambu printer. When I did, I bought this heater upgrade and it has been exceptional. Easy to put together, functional and no-frills user interface. It works, looks good, and does it's job. I couldn't ask for anything more.

This was a great upgrade for my AMS1. Printing with PETG has been a breeze since it just stays dry with the RH (relative humidity) mode turned on it keeps the humidity down at all times. Easy to setup and attach following the instructions. I highly recommend if you use filaments that are hygroscopic.
