Description
PV priority mode: Switch to mains supply when the PV charging fails. This mode maximizes the use of solar energy while maintaining battery power, suitable for use in the areas with relatively stable grid. Mains priority mode:Switch to inverter only when the mains fails (when there was mains power, switch to mains power for charging and power supply). Then, the unit is equivalent to a backup UPS, suitable for areas with unstable grid. Switching does not affect PV charging. Inverter priority mode: Switch to mains supply only when the battery discharge under voltage is lower than the set point (item 04). When the charging battery is higher than the set point of (05 setting item), switch to the battery discharge mode. This can cycle the battery charge and discharge. This mode maximizes the use of DC power and is used in the area with stable grid. Switching does not affect PV charging.

I've been using/testing this unit for over a year now and I'm very impressed and pleased. It's got impressive performance in a compact package and runs everything I need in my work trailer from a microwave, espresso machine, small makita air compressor, mini fridge, fans, battery chargers, and lights. I can run all three high draw items simultaneously even which is MOST impressive. I used to have a 2000 watt inverter/charger unit formerly that didn't even have solar inputs and it couldn't keep up. Once you get it all setup with the right values and perimeters on the settings, (which is a little confusing to be honest) it's just set it and forget it. Super nice to just come home and plug into shore power at the end of the day and use reliable power during the next work day without thinking about it. I have been very satisfied with my Sungold 3000 watt unit and highly recommend it.

Transfer switch, plug in charging, work nice. The solar input did not work at all and difficult to program, had battery's series to 24v and parallel r into two sets. It would run everything I needed for about 2 hours. Full change 26.6, low voltage alarm at 23.8 volts. I can not recommend this one.

Se ve igual wue la foro. No lo he usado aun, aunque me parece mad pequeño que lo que esperaba recibir, aunque se ve de muy buena calidad. Tengo uno de 6,000 kw a 24 vdc y es una excelente maquina, vale la pena. Tengo un schneider 4048 y es buenisima, pero este sungldpower tambien es buenisimo

Very happy so far with my purchase. I’ve tried several other cheaper brands that looked better on paper like higher Wattage and Solar capacities but all had various issues that made their products unstable and practically unusable. Several reviews mentioned, save your time and money and get a more reputable brand so I did, and so far, so good. The only dislike I have is that this inverter requires 120v before it activates PV. Not the end of the world but delays when my solar starts outputting everyday.

Solar does not charge

I purchased 2 200watt sungold solar panels. Voltage meter shows them working all the way to the circuit board inside this system, however the system does not even recognize solar nor does it charge the 4 12v 100ah power queen batteries. I've sent an email to the manufacturer, but no reasons as ok yet. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Best Bang For Your Buck!

Perfect solar backup inverter for your money! I actually have this on 24/7 and it’s powering my deep freezer, WiFi/modem, security cameras, and sump pump for my basement. Even with all that hooked up the inverter has no issues!! I am currently running 4 x 250w 24v solar panels. They are charging my lithium-ion 24v 60ah battery. I need to up my battery storage but I didn’t think I was going to run most of my appliances on it so this is a good thing. The inverter also never loses power when switching from AC bypass to battery backup or to solar priority . I honestly love this thing. The instructions are very clear. It tells you what gauge wire you should use. The inverter is very quite even when surge power is applied.
