This "Kit" is basically the Sunfounder Fusion Hat plus a collection of goodies - resistors, LEDs, servos, buttons, etc. - for trying out the various Hat functions. The kit appears to be configured in conjunction with Paul McWhorter's YouTube series, "AI on the Edge". If you already *have* resistors, LEDs, etc., you might get by with just the Hat which is sold separately. The big surprise (for me) was the quality of product support. I had a couple questions about the Hat and one of the two servos was DOA. An email sent to [email protected] was answered overnight - time difference between Eastern U.S. and China - and a very pleasant conversation ensued. My questions were answered satisfactorily and a pair of replacement servos was sent to me for no charge. Except for the delays due to time difference, I can't imagine better product support.

EDIT: 06/13/26. Sunfounder support reached out and asked if they could help (that is a plus). I explained to them the problem and what I had did to try and solve the error (problem) on the AI Fusion Lab Kit and how I had posted the problem on the Sunfounder Forum (with no response). They informed me that it was a holiday and they was sorry for the delay (another plus). After several emails they asked if they sent me a new kit would I be willing to try again, I said yes. I have had the kit for several weeks and I am following there online video course (AI on the Edge, YouTube) which is outstanding. Also, the AI Fusion Lab Kit is working flawlessly (BIG plus). So, this is a great kit and video cours on AI and I am very happy with the way Sunfounder responded to my problem. With that said, A great AI Kit with a great video course. I have moved this to 5 stars and would recommend this kit and course for a better understanding of AI. Thank you Sunfounder. Old review: I purchased this so that I could participate in an online AI class, but this AI Fusion Lab Kit is a waste of money. Put everything together and tested and everything worked (ADC, PWM, Servo's). So, 1st blinked LED, 2nd controlled an RGB LED, 3rd controlled the Servo's, everything worked. THEN, the next class (ERROR: Fusion_Hat not connected) so I had to research that (a lot of people with same problem). Finally on the Sunfounder Forum found a suggestion to reinstall the drivers, did that and it worked. AND THEN, the next class (Error: Fusion_Hat not connected). So, I reinstall the drivers but this time it did not help, I give up. going to send it back to Amazon and call it a day.

I have 2 robots doing exactly the same thing. My 1st one uses about 10 sensors and modules. My new one uses this product and is very clean. Extremely easy to use. Be sure to see the "AI on the Edge" YouTube vids with Paul McWhorter. He doesnt cover all but he does a lot!

In the past I have used SunFounder kits starting with the Elite Explorer Kit ,Raphael Kit (Ultimate Kit for Raspberry PI, and am now using the AI Fusion Lab Kit, and there are NO dissapointments. I enjoy every minute of so many options and available online tutoring from different sources (my personal favourite being Paul McWhorter). I totally recommend if you are going to purchase a arduino Uno, Arduino Uno R4 wifi, RaspberryPI 5, and many others, that you definitely purchase a SunFounder Kit that goes with the hardware you purchased.

This is an awesome kit and there are wonderful lessons available from Paul Mcworter hosted on YouTube! I Highly recommend this for anyone wanting to learn Python or just do something other than play video games on their raspberry pi 5!!!

This was the 2nd kit I purchased from Sunfounder. When the kit arrived, it was missing 1 item necessary to build the kit. I emailed customer service and within 1 hour, a customer service representative responded. The shipping order was creating, I received a tracking number, and the missing item shipped, all on the same day. At no cost to me. The missing item was shipped from China, I was able to track the item, and I received it 7 days later (USA), on my doorstep.

received the kit .. First impression is this is a lot of tech . I found docs.sunfounder.com that explains some of the Fusion Hat and is a great resource... although my go to guy is toptechboy.com!

I bought this product as part of Paul McWhorter's, 'AI on the Edge' internet class. I am impressed with the quality, completeness and documentation of the product. It's sufficient to learn 'AI on the Edge' without a structured class, although probably not as much fun.
