Pretty bummed out socket holders are brittle plastic. Sockets are quality and still decently priced so I will keep. Updated review. Customer service doesn’t exist will not be purchasing anything else from this company.

This Sunex socket set is a serious selection of sockets for impact guns. The set has a wide selection of 3/8" and 1/2" drive shallow and deep well in both standard and metric sizes. It also includes some torx, allen, and security bits. When I opened the box it seemed like the tools just kept coming. I like that all of the sockets are on socket rails for easy organization and storage and each socket is clearly marked and easy to locate. I can't imagine this set not having the size I need for most jobs around my garage. I am updating this review and dropping a star from my previous review because the socket rails that are included are junk. The break very easily especially with the heavier sockets so I would advise some better rails. The sockets fit snugly on my cordless impact gun. At first they are a little too snug but with some use they slip on and off the bit more easily. These things are tough. I used them on a lag screw and the socket showed no signs of wear on the chuck or business end of the tool. These sockets are also fine to use in a ratchet. The box these sockets are shipped in is heavy! I guess it probably weighs 50lbs so it's a beast. You definitely won't mistake this for a thin walled cheap set. I have never heard of Sunex but I am pleasantly surprised at the quality and selection.

Truly impressed with this impact socket kit. I have been a big fan of Sunex tools and have purchased many of their tools in the past, including a master 3/8" impact socket kit. This kit is a great way to fill up a fresh service cart or that brand new tool box. I half expected to have to put the sockets on the rails myself, but everything came as pictured and already on the rails. This is certainly not the norm with most socket kits, but I am glad to save some time in getting these organized in my tool box. My previous experience with Sunex impact sockets tells me that this kit will last a long time to come. Highly recommend this kit, and really happy to see the large selection of impact bits in this kit.

This is my first time trying out Sunex products. This socket set is robust, with plenty of variety. I really appreciate the CR-MO material used, as it should last for a really long time, even with daily use. The black finish is attractive, and keeps maintenance requirements to the minimum. Every piece I've used has been perfectly within tolerance. Whether it is a bolt, nut, or other kind of fastener, this set has an answer for it. Even the socket extensions are excellent. The storage rails are a bit fragile since they are made with plastic. About four of the clips that hold the bolt to the included rails arrived broken. In my case, I have a different storage solution, so this is not an issue for me. Overall, if you want every common socket in your tool inventory, without having to spend a ton, this Sunex set is an excellent value for a high quality and durable set.

I got the 181 piece set to outfit a new work area in my shop. These come on a bar which holds each socket. The kit has a ton of sizes, both SAE and metric and has some of the more rare security bits. These have both a painted on easy to read label and if someday that wears off there's an engraved size label as well. These are well machined and have been holding up really well. I just replaced axles on a double axle dump trailer and these combined with a impact drill made this is a quick job.

This is the greatest socket set I have ever had. There is just about everything you need here for major mechanical work. The quality is super high, the pieces are very heavy and robust. I was able to jettison years of mix-and-match sockets and have a nice, unified set. They are very well marked with large letters/numbers. I very highly recommend this set as great quality and value.
