I purchased this box for in my house for me to use when I have small odd jobs. The box has great tools a really good variety however, when using the power drill bits to put in screws, they easily strip out I ruined two when trying to put a screw into a pine board… disappointing. Okay, let's be real. Before this arrived, the extent of my "tool collection" was a lone, sad-looking screwdriver that I'd probably used more for opening paint cans than actually screwing anything. I'm not exactly Bob Vila over here. So when I saw it – a bright, unapologetically pink tool box – I was intrigued. Did I need it? Absolutely not. Did I want it? With every fiber of my being. And now that I have it, I can confidently say: I never knew I needed a tool box until I got one. It's not just the color (although, let's be honest, the pink is a major selling point). It's the feeling of preparedness. The sense that I can, maybe, possibly, tackle that wobbly bookshelf without having to call (and pay!) a handyman. Even if the most I've accomplished so far is tightening a loose screw on a cabinet hinge, I feel like I'm finally equipped to embrace the world of home repair. Inside, neatly organized, are all sorts of mysterious contraptions. Various sizes of screwdrivers, a hammer that feels satisfyingly weighty in my hand, pliers, measuring tape, a level... it's like a treasure chest of grown-up problem-solving tools. Then there's the drill. Oh, the drill. Let's just say my relationship with the drill is... complicated. I haven't quite figured out how to use it properly. I've watched a few YouTube tutorials, but the whole "torque" and "drill bit sizes" situation still feels a little overwhelming. But! It's in my tool box, and it looks intimidatingly cool. I'm determined to master it. One day, I will drill a hole without accidentally creating a crater the size of Texas. For now, the drill sits there, a symbol of my future adulting prowess. And that, in itself, is empowering. Having a tool box, especially a pink one, is about more than just fixing things. It's about taking ownership of my space. It's about feeling empowered to tackle small home improvement projects. It's about learning new skills and not being afraid to make mistakes. I might not know everything, and I might still need to Google "how to change a lightbulb," but I'm trying. I'm learning. I’m very disappointed, I received this today and it looks like it was used beforehand. The case is scratched and scuffed up, and some of the tools were already opened with a sticky residue on them. Clearly someone else used this toolkit before being mailed to me. In addition, many of the tools fall out of place when attempting to shut the case. They’re not securely fastened, it’s quite an annoyance. Will be returning.
