I dont sleep well. Never have. I wake up every morning feeling like I have a hangover. I didnt even realize that wasnt what waking up should feel like until I had a hangover for the first time and I was an invalid. Anyway. This really provides me with restful, energizing sleep. However, two things I've noticed. 1. It really puts me to bed, and if I'm looking at getting less than 7 hours, I cant get myself up properly. So make sure you're going to get a full nights before you take it. 2. My dreams have become really, really strange. Some have been terrifying. If you're not into having weird dreams, you might want to consider another supplement. I dont mind this though. The cherry flavor is a little gross, but I can tolerate it. I take 1mg per night, but you'll want to do your own research to figure out what's best for you. For the price, you should give it a try. It works really well for me.

I did some research on melatonin before I bought this and wanted one without alcohol, vegan, cruelty free, and as natural as possible. I have been taking this for months and I am truly so grateful to have found it. For a few years now, I have been staying up later and later, because I simply am not sleepy. I like to get to work early in the morning, so this was becoming more of a problem. Trying to get to bed earlier didn't work because I dreaded getting into bed and just laying there, frustrated because I couldn't fall asleep. Even if I'd had a few glasses of wine, I was not sleepy enough to want to go to bed. And, with or without alcohol, I wasn't sleeping well through the night. Not getting sleepy often means your body is not producing enough melatonin - and although there are many ways to deal with lack of sleepiness (stretching, working out, making bedtime routines, breathing exercises, changing your diet, etc.), I decided to give this a try. Melatonin is a hormone, so it's important to be careful when taking it or messing with it, so I started out with a low dose. It made me sleepy the very first night and I could NOT stay awake! I actually slept through the night and felt rested the next day. Even after months of using it every single night (give or take a few weeks in between, when I was on vacation or something), I still get SO tired and get good sleep. I still take the same dose every time. Things to keep in mind: 1. Since melatonin is a hormone, if you take TOO much, it can have the opposite effect on you. AKA, you become MORE awake. So, with melatonin, and some people's body chemistry, more is not better. Experiment with low doses (start with less than a mL, even) and then gradually increase if needed. 2. Melatonin does NOT have the same effect on dogs or other animals as it does on humans. Remember, it is a hormone and hormones are different from species to species. If you want to make your pet sleepy, this won't work. I give my dog melatonin (a different kind) for her hair loss in the winter - because for some dogs, the darker months (if you live in a place with seasons) make their systems wonky and melatonin helps. 3. Some people recommend taking it every day then laying off of it for a few weeks/months. I have not done that but it still helps me immensely. I do notice, though, that when I've not taken it for a week or so, and I start again, it's much more difficult to control my sleepiness than it is when I have taken it every night for a week or more. 4. Remember to take it early enough in the evening so that you don't have a tough time waking up or so you aren't sleepy the next day. It's not fun at all. I like to take it at least 9 hours prior to wake-up, so that it clears my system well enough. This product actually did change my life and I am so much more rested now.

I have taken melatonin for about 25 years. I have tried many brands, regular pills, sublingual pills, time-release pills, and various dosages. I have found that 1mg works best for me. The dosage of this liquid is 1mg, and it hits pretty quick. I am drowsy in about 25 minutes after taking this. It does help me stay asleep better than the pills, but the morning grogginess is also there, which I never experienced with taking the pill form. It appears to be a potent product, great value, and easy to take. I don't have a problem with the flavor, and being a liquid, you can keep it in your nightstand, and take it while in bed.

This is the only brand that I’ve found that makes a great tasting liquid melatonin. I like that it’s a liquid so I can give my kiddo a small dose—something I can’t do with gummies or capsules. His pediatrician recommended that I only give him 1 or 2 mL an hour before bedtime when needed, and it works.

I took melatonin in the past and after awhile it didn’t work. I became desperate because of my insomnia, so I thought I would give it another shot. Only this time following my drs advice. I started with a spray melatonin because I figured it’s not 5 mg and it’s not 1 mg your taking I felt I might need something in between which what the spray was. One night I took 1 spray. I was happy at first… fell asleep quickly and didn’t wake up till morning. Unluckily I was groggy and sleeping 2 more days and nights away. I tried it a second time. A few days-a week later. Same result. What I did next was get this dropper melatonin. Like for kids. And dosed myself with 1 mg of Melatonin after the other melatonin was out of my system. Which was about a week later… Result I fell asleep quickly and slept till morning but again groggy and slept another day away. Though this time it was 2 nights 1 day, compared to 2 days 2 nights. I tried again with this dropper melatonin a few days later though this time took 2-3 drops. End result and continued result… fall asleep within 30-45min. Sleep through the night. Wake refreshed and ready to go… Once you go 2-3 nights with restless to no sleep. That’s when you take the melatonin otherwise your body gets used to it. Though start with a low dose and work up as needed. Don’t make my mistake and sleep your nights and DAYS away.
