I ordered this hat on the recommendation of many outdoors websites. I needed a lightweight hat that had excellent sun protection, and a wide range of sizes. I have a pretty large head, running close to 64cm (US hat size 8) in circumference. Thankfully the XL did fit me, albeit a little snugly. One feature I didn't think much of in the beginning, but I did find useful was the packability. The brim can fold in half, and the whole hat can be easily folded up and fit into a cargo pocket. The vents keep my head cool, and the brim is large enough to block pretty much all sun. The slots for stowing your sunglasses are appreciated, but I can't say I use them that often. They're a little hard to locate and use when the hat is actually on your head, but that could just be on account of me not using that feature very often. YMMV. And finally the cinch cord is great at keeping the hat on your head and not flying off. Overall a great hat I can definitely recommend. ... show more

The Sunday Afternoons Ultra Adventure hat is a great hat! It’s lightweight, covers your neck, and the brim doesn’t fly up in the wind. It’s very well designed. I first ordered the hat from Amazon and whomever packed it ruined the hat by folding the brim in a place it shouldn’t have been folded and then put it in an envelope for shipping, permanently creasing the brim. Dumb. I returned it and ordered another from the maker, Sunday Afternoons. The hat was shipped in a box with no damage. Nice!! ... show more
