I bought this hammock because of its versatility (hammock or chair swing) - and ease of switching between the two options. And that it is! Although I plan to use the chair swing option mostly, switching over to a hammock is simple. Actually, even just putting it together was a breeze; just minutes. However, this is no lightweight hammock. The box states it is almost 40 pounds - so clearly the steel poles are not lightweight - and I had to have my movers bring the box in the house for me when I moved. Even assembling it, I had to take the poles out a few at a time as opposed to carrying the box. But all the technical stuff aside, it very comfortable as a swing. The canvas appears heavy weight, but still soft. The hooks and straps are very heavy duty. After putting it up, I fell right to sleep in it. :-) My only slight disappointment is the color of the fabric for the chair. I guess I thought since I ordered the blue and white striped hammock that the sling was interchangeable between the chair swing and hammock. I did not realize I would get two slings! The chair sling is black - but I was hoping for the blue and white stripes. But not a deal breaker, for sure. ... show more

This hammock is great. Easy to set up and to move around as my Dad does. The fabric of the hammock is sturdy and thick. My Dad loves this thing. Whenever I come over he’s in it! The first box that arrived looked fine. However, upon setting it up, at step number two, I realized that the hammock stand itself was damaged. I reached out for a replacement, it arrived within 2 days. It took me about 15 minutes to set up. The directions are very thorough, and there aren't many parts, which is nice. As I write this, I am relaxing in my nice new hammock. Definitely recommend this one in particular! Good quality and very comfy. Easy to adjust. ... show more

I love that this comes with a full hammock and a small one. I also love that the frame adjust easily. It is very sturdy and very comfortable. The colors are accurate and attractive. My only complaint is being summer it is very hot due to the material being a heavy canvas. I sleep in it most nights in my yard and I do like the heavy canvas for a cooler night but not in the hot sun during the day. I deff recommend this for the price as it is very nice and I’m sure it will hold up for years being such good quality. I do take it in and hang it in my shed during the day to avoid sun damage and/or rain!! ... show more
