To make good on my promise, I am updating this review based on the great customer service from Sunco. I contacted the manufacturer through their website and they asked for images of the back of the lights that apparently gave them manufacture batch dates so they could track any manufacturing issues. They have shipped replacements. I cannot ask for anything more.... I will leave the original review below for prospective buyer info. I bought 72 of these lights for a new construction project that finished about 4 months ago. Very easy to install, sleek looking, and has great color and brightness. However, in that short time, I've had to replace about 8 lights where the plastic tip that holds the springs on, breaks off. See pics. I suspect that the heat generated by the lights causes the plastic to become brittle and since the spring is constantly under pressure, they eventually shear off. I've also had 3 recently burn out and stop working. Not a huge deal as you expect to replace some lights now and then, but I have 15' - 20' ceilings, so it becomes very "inconvenient." The description claims a 7-year warranty. I will update this review if they make good on the warranty. ... show more

Received the lights and they were packaged very well 2 in a box and 12 of them packed in a sturdy outer box. Very safe way to send them. I will install them as soon as I get the 6.375” saw to cut the holes for them. The look great!

These lights were recommended by a contractor, I think, and we are happy with how they look - our home is so much brighter! They are super easy to install - no mounting brackets needed. Just drill a hole and mount directly in the ceiling with the springs. We had several lights fail after a few months, but the customer service is AMAZING. I filled out a warranty claim online on the manufacturer's website, and they responded within an hour - and even threw in a couple of extra lights as a bonus! ... show more

VERY easy install. i have the cool white, liked them so much, i ordered more and started replacing lights that were only 3 years old. Hardly any glare, the dispersion of the light is such that you don't need them to adjust angle. I have on smart dimmers (2-6 per dimmer) work flawlessly. Need hardly any space above ceiling to install. and the price on these is about the same as the BULBS for the can type lights. under my older can types i was going to have to install a couple more lights for the kitchen counter, with these...no need. ... show more
