Love this camera! It's very easy to use. It doesn't come charged, so if you're having trouble with it, plug it in (hold the power button to turn it on). There are three lights on the bottom left: battery, printing, and SD card. If the battery is white, it's fine to use, if printing is white, it's printing, and if SD card is red there's no micro SD (white means there is). The pictures it takes are super cute and very fun, but don't buy this if you're expecting iPhone or other camera quality pictures. They're different than polaroid prints, but are very similar quality to cameras from the early 2000s/2010s or so. You can see everything but it's not going to be super vivid and the color will be a little off. Also, try to take pictures in light, but as you can see in the last photo, the camera won't always adjust to super bright light like another camera would. I bought this as the used (like new description) and it was in perfect condition. The box had a slight mark but had never been opened. This product comes with 10 sheets of paper, but if you're looking to buy more, amazon has HP Zink 2x3 sticky back paper that is cheaper than the Kodak brand of the same exact thing, and works just as well. Really no difference, just a few dollars more. Last thing: in the instruction manual it comes with, the black and white vs color switch instructions seem to be slightly wrong. If you can see the three colorful dots, your photo will come out in color. If the dots are grey and black, it'll be black and white. The manual seemed to reverse this, so I figured I'd mention it. :) ... show more

I loved this so much I ended up getting two. As a person that grew up with polaroid cameras there was nothing better than waiting for your picture to develop right in front of your eyes. In the age of digital cameras this is a fun flashback moment. I use mine in my classroom and the sticky back film makes instant stickers. The speed isn't the fastest and the noise it makes to turn it on get a little annoying but other than that it is just plug and play. ... show more

I was really excited to try out the Kodak Printomatic camera, especially since I expected decent instant prints from a reputable brand. Unfortunately, this product was a huge disappointment from start to finish. The print quality is shockingly bad — photos come out with dull, washed-out colors and are often blurry. The images have smudges, streaks, and sometimes even partial prints. It’s frustrating because the whole point of an instant camera is to get fun, vibrant prints on the spot, but this camera consistently fails at that. The camera itself feels cheap and flimsy, with poor build quality. It struggles in anything but perfect lighting, and the flash doesn’t do much to improve the results. Focusing is hit-or-miss, and many pictures come out grainy or out of focus. For the price, I expected way better performance and quality. Instead, I got a frustrating experience that felt like a gimmick rather than a useful camera. If you want instant prints that look good or a camera you can rely on, this is definitely not the one. Save your money and look elsewhere. I regret this purchase and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. ... show more

This is an inexpensive printer that uses ZINK paper - which means, no ink, no mess, no worries. The zink images are relatively small, but when the paper is peeled of of the back they become stickers. Shop for a good price on the zink paper and it is rather cost effective. With your smart phones for capturing those crystal clear huge megapixel pictures, this camera is a refreshing change, producing good quality images that you or your children can hold in their hands. Decide which type camera you want and if it is a simple, fun camera, that prints nice little photos, which can double as stickers, this may be just for you! ... show more

The picture quality is not good at all. My son wanted this so badly and got it as a gift. I honestly think it is a novelty item and really not worth the price. It also was not user friendly and we struggled to get it to even take the picture which resulted in wasted film which is also pricey and the pictures are very small. Got this for our daughters birthday. She is 4. She loves to take pictures with this as it gives her some understanding that she has a finite set of pictures she can take and they should be important when she clicks the button. She has gone through a few picture packets and has taken some really cool pictures. The picture quality is good for this device and you can make out most of the detail but don't expect it be super detailed. Who cares it's a kids camera and it's durable, looks and feels cool, easy to learn and operate by a 4 year old and when she is playing with it she really does not need a lot of adult supervision.
