Assembling these was a piece of cake, though a little time consuming. Swapped out 30 lights in my house ina short amount of time. Cost effective and certainly transforms a place. Traditional recessed lights have the light enclosed and surrounded by the trim - this leads to a shadowy band across the upper part of the walls close to the ceiling (unless you have floor or table lamps in addition to throw light upward).
