Put a couple up on an outdoor overhang where I sit through winter--wet, dark, cold--they lift my spirits and let me start my plants easier. I wish they had daisy chain potential on either end tho.

I have purchased a number of light fixtures for my greenhouse over the years from a number of sources. The issue has not been if they worked initially, but with longevity (even 5-year warrantees only worked for 1-2 years, and then the company ignored my warrantee requests). So I tested each light fixture prior to hanging it in the greenhouse (all worked), daisy chained 3 together (worked) and put on timer (worked). Since I only use the greenhouse to over winter tender plants (much too hot in summer even with door and vents open) I will not have the true test starting for another month or so (live in zone 6-7). I will say that the light seemed very bright, and I like the width of the fixture which covers about 1/3 of my bench width (fixtures I have used only covered a bout 1/6 of the bench width). Worked perfectly providing more light hours in the greenhouse. I worried about shipping but shouldn't have, they were safely packaged and arrived ahead of schedule. I opened the package, easily attached the hangers and voila! Let there be more light!

FIRST ORDER: Came ready to go out of the box. Some hardware included that I did not need. I purchased two and daisy chained them together and plugged into a timer. Works , lightweight, and seems like they will last. Using to keep some outside plants alive through the winter. 2nd ORDER: Received a light that does not match the first two I purchased. This new one has a less robust power cord, the fixture is lighter and looks cheap. The new chord also has an on-off switch that the first two dis not. the fixtures hang with chains. The first order used a cleaner, easer to install hanger. The bulbs look to be the same so I'm using it, but I will not reorder next time. Unfortunately, I just did a reorder without looking at the description and photos of this revamped light. A mistake I will not make again. ... show more
