Very happy with this shed. The size and quality are great, and it fits perfectly by the side gate in our backyard without taking up too much space. Even though it doesn’t look big from the outside, the interior is surprisingly spacious and very practical. A solid and well-designed storage shed.

It’s rare to get an item that has all the parts, clear instructions and whose screw-holes line up properly. This was a very easy assembly (I’m 73). Only needed the wife’s help with the doors— lining up three hinges is too much for one person. Now to find some hooks and whatnot that fit.

Amazon's scheduled delivery worked out great, the shed arrived in the time window and the driver kindly wheeled the box to my backyard. Box was intact as were all inside contents. Building the wooden foundation was the single biggest time investment (this is going on a porch with a slight slant, so there was a little more involved in planning and cutting the lumber). I assembled this myself without much difficulty besides these few issues: 1. A couple of the holes in the sides for the plastic 'bolts' were not completely drilled through. I ended up using a 5/8" spade bit to get through - a utility knife couldn't cut it; 2. I could not get the sides of the windows to seal no matter how little/much tightening I did of the screws. I'll probably drill additional holes and use more screws, or perhaps cut a thin piece of reinforcing material to apply pressure along the entire side; 3. Same with the screening - while the holes in the screen seemed to align with those in the headers, I couldn't get the screen to really lay down against the plastic tautly all the way around. I taped around the edges using outdoor window film tape; 4. You'll need a second wrench to tighten the bolts for the ridge beam. Speaking of which, don't tighten these upon initial installation. I found I had to loosen these in order to get the roof panels on. I tightened them again after both roof panels were installed; 4.5. The ridge beam also needed a little modification to fit into the ridge brackets - it was a little too wide at the open side. Standing on it with my heels at the open side and giving myself a little bounce was enough to compress it sufficiently to fit; 5. Having an A-clamp or some other type of light-duty quick clamp is handy to hold the tops of the sides together during installation. You'll only need one. Another person can also fulfill this function; 6. The roof panels needed a little encouragement with the rubber mallet to slide completely into place. I'm pleased with the instructions and final appearance/function of the shed, and it's just the right size to fit on our (unused) back porch. ... show more

I am very pleased with this shed. I looked at many options and this one had the look and dimensions I needed. There were a few reviews about issues with assembly and quality, but most were positive. Glad I selected this one. So site prep and construction of the base took me about 3 hours. That was mostly tree trimming and grading level ground. Building the platform was about 40 minutes. I purchased the lumber pre-cut at Lowe's. Shed assembly took me less than 4 hours with my wife helping hold things I'm place and doling out hardware as needed. It helps to pre- read the instructions and have everything unpacked and layed out and organized. I was amazed that every hole, tab and screw lined up perfectly. That never happens with these things. We'll done Suncast! There was extra hardware which was fantastic as I lost a couple of screws in the dirt. The roof alignment seemed tricky at first, but once I was able to get enough force to slide the second panel in place, the ridge snapped in place...and every screw hole was then perfectly aligned. Most important, the finished shed looks great! The doors closed perfectly flush with each other and all reveals are even (there's a little bit of play before tightening the hinges to the panels which helped to level the doors). I was also super attentive insuring my platform was perfectly level. That is key. We will see how it holds up. It's almost completely shaded, so im not concerned about sun issues. After reading other reviews I expected the assembly to be a major undertaking. And on the box and directions it was suggested that you have 2 people to assemble and handle. I consider myself to be in the medium category of handiness with tools and such. I wouldn't describe the assembly as easy but I was able to build the shed by myself in about 4 hours with little trouble. Granted I was watching a football game at the same time so took numerous breaks but I would expect it could be done in about 2-3 hours. The shed seems sturdy enough (although I live in Southern California and I have it set against the side of my house). I doubt it would fair well in the middle of a field in Montana but it suits my needs just fine - storage of lawn equipment/tools and outdoor furniture. All in all, very satisfied. ... show more
