I am very pleased with this shed. I looked at many options and this one had the look and dimensions I needed. There were a few reviews about issues with assembly and quality, but most were positive. Glad I selected this one. So site prep and construction of the base took me about 3 hours. That was mostly tree trimming and grading level ground. Building the platform was about 40 minutes. I purchased the lumber pre-cut at Lowe's. Shed assembly took me less than 4 hours with my wife helping hold things I'm place and doling out hardware as needed. It helps to pre- read the instructions and have everything unpacked and layed out and organized. I was amazed that every hole, tab and screw lined up perfectly. That never happens with these things. We'll done Suncast! There was extra hardware which was fantastic as I lost a couple of screws in the dirt. The roof alignment seemed tricky at first, but once I was able to get enough force to slide the second panel in place, the ridge snapped in place...and every screw hole was then perfectly aligned. Most important, the finished shed looks great! The doors closed perfectly flush with each other and all reveals are even (there's a little bit of play before tightening the hinges to the panels which helped to level the doors). I was also super attentive insuring my platform was perfectly level. That is key. We will see how it holds up. It's almost completely shaded, so im not concerned about sun issues. First of all, I'm 63. I put this thing together by myself. It took me two days because I didn't get started as early in the morning as I would have liked. The hardest part of the whole thing is getting the gaskets in the windows. Other than that follow the directions and it's easy peasy lemon squeezie. I think I did an awesome job. It was delivered at 1 pm by NSD as promised. NSD driver called me 30 min before the delivery confirming I am ready to receive it. The driver put the box in my garage, “immediate dry area” without any additional charge. A good thing was none of the materials was damaged as it came in a super heavy duty (2 to 4 layers) cardboard box. It appears the shed kit was made and packed in the US, not a cheap foreign made. The assembly was made by me with occasional helps from my wife. Before the purchase, I downloaded the assembly instructions from Suncast website and read it carefully to see if there are any difficulties during the assembly. The manual is well written and easy to follow. I am an experienced handyman but it takes me 4 hours to complete due to a problem with roof panel (see below). There were a few things about the assembly I want to mention. (1) there are many “Truss Head Screws” designated as “BB.” I used a battery powered screw driver with low / medium torque clutch setting. It is important to find a proper torque setting as I drove the screw into plastic. When installed Plexiglass door windows, I stopped the driver just before the window pane starts warping avoiding extra stress. (2) to put the wall panels together, it uses plastic “Easy Bolts” which are very fragile. You must use the included hand driver and stop driving as soon as you hear clicking. I wish I had something better. (3) placing the roof panels on the walls / front & rear headers was super tough. There were 6 sets of grooves and tongues which need to align and get fully engaged by sliding the roof panel. Since one roof panel was warped, I had to use a gas touch to straighten the warp by heating the concave side. The ridge beam should not be tightened with hex bolts until the roof panels were installed. I believe it is important but not mentioned in the manual. I just want to share my experience with future purchasers. Overall my wife and I like the product quality. it seems Suncast cares about its products and customers especially judging from design and packaging. ... show more

I purchased this shed because I have a very limited space to put it behind my house. 6x3 was as big as I could go between my AC unit and back door. YES, BIKES CAN FIT INSIDE. It is a very tight squeeze, but I did manage to get 2 full size bikes inside. I also am using this for temporary wood storage as you can see. It was a little challenging for me to assemble by myself but it can be done. Trying to get the corners in place was difficult because you need to bend the corners 90 degrees, but I believe it does make the shed stronger when assembled that way. My only concern is the right door has a small gap where it meets the other door. This would allow rain to come in. My "Fix" for this was to use a scrap piece of 3/4 treated plywood and a screw to pull the corner in flush. I am sure the root cause is the floor is not perfectly level. I used several extra pavers I had from another job for a base, and did not spend much time getting them perfectly level. If I had to purchase another shed, I would most likely purchase this again, even though it was pretty expensive.. ... show more
