  • Great Shed
I've owned this shed for over a year now and like the two other Suncast products I have, I'm very happy with my purchase and the quality is very serviceable. It's easy to assemble and disassemble as I found out when I moved it. I built a box framed subfloor of 2X6 on 1 foot centers out of Redwood with a 3/4 inch exterior plywood floor. A 4X8 sheet of plywood fits the shed footprint perfectly except for the 1 1/4 inch lip that extends out for the front doors. To support that I put another 2X6 on the front of the box frame and stained the frame and plywood. I supported the frame underneath with six 12X12X4 inch concrete blocks buried flat. One on each corner and 2 in the middle. It's very solid to walk on. After downsizing and moving to my retirement home in Colorado I found a 4X8 foot space sufficient for my garden tool storage needs. The 8 foot peak height inside is also nice for moving things around but some HOA's have a limit on shed height so check that first. Although most of it is made out of plastic, there are metal strips in the walls and ceiling that tie it together and make it rigid. And metal parts on the edges of the doors and the hinges to add durability. One metal strip is about 6 feet up and runs the length of the back wall. I was able to attach a 2X6 to that and hang shovels and rakes to get them off the floor. I also hung a hose rack. I used screw heads on the back of the 2X6 which keyed into the channel on the metal strip. Being in Colorado it gets major sun nearly every day. Over a year now and no fading I can see. I added a LED bump light on the inside for after dark visibility. It is also very weather and wind proof. We have serious wind here and it's very solid. There are screw holes in the floor to keep it in place. As for durability I'm very happy, as long as you don't abuse it, it should last quite a while. If you can get by with a 4X8 footprint for your needs, this shed is a great choice. ... show more

  • Love this shed!
This shed is fairly roomy, sturdy and very nice looking. It took my husband and I approximately 5 hours to assemble. Instructions were pretty good. Just take your time doing each step. The hardest part is attaching the roof. You definitely need 2 people to assemble this shed. We added the Suncast shelving and hooks to the shed and are really pleased with how it turned out. We store many items in this shed including outdoor folding chairs, lounge chairs, seasonal decorations, shop vac and others items. Great shed! ... show more

  • Serves purpose
Product is exactly as advertised. It does seem sturdy enough for its purpose, but while putting it together it was questionable. As a whole together it becomes tough. Biggest complaint I have is the doors do not come together smoothly. I have to band the doors shut. They ultimately will close, but I worry over time that could get worse as resin expands in heat, and I installed this in the middle of winter. Easy enough to put together, but a few pieces just don’t match up as depicted (within 1/8”) which is acceptable for most contracted work. Ultimately I am pleased with the product for now, and pleased with the storage room inside. ... show more

  • Nice storage shed
The building was easy for me to put together, but I have a lot of experience and every tool ever made (and two of some). Two people were necessary for a few steps. Strongly suggest everyone read the directions first. I didn't secure the floor until the building was complete. We decided to alter our original plan and that worked OK because the floor has depressions where the anchor bolts would go. I just drilled down through the plastic floor. I also caulked the seems to reduce insects. I live in Florida...enough said. The shed is working to house my fishing gear perfectly. The floor is solid enough for some lawn equipment if needed. The skylights help with light, along with the windows in the doors. I also added wireless "puck" lights. ... show more

  • Very nice - kept dry after our recent Northern California wind and rain storms
Easy to assemble. Awesome instructions. Well labeled parts. Easily stands up to 40mph winds.. I set it on 12 4-inch bricks on a concrete driveway on the side of my yard. It needed to be elevated to keep dry underneath. Not a big deal. I'm looking into solutions to hang garden tools. The walls seem secure. Some of the provided stainless screws stripped out the plastic and did not snug down well but there were so many attachment points it didn't affect the stability of the shed. ... show more

  • Haven’t had this much trouble finding the hole since I lost my VIRGINITY !!
Overall I give 4.5 ⭐️ s. The plastic for the windows on the doors was very frustrating to try to screw together. The rubber that seals the window kept popping out of place as the groove for it was a little narrow. That whole window assemble needs to be re-engineered. It was horribly frustrating to put together. Lining up the holes for the screws was almost impossible for me. Also, the shed is 96” in length and NOT 100.5” as in the description. I had to buy an extra sheet of plywood and made my foundation bigger than it needed to be. This shed is PLASTIC and a bit over priced. Other than that it is roomy, fairly easy to assemble. I put it together in 5 hours by myself including clean up. ... show more

  • Blew Apart!
Loved the shed. Easy assembly. I secured to concrete block and treated wood frame. A BIG wind came along a few days later and it ended up in pieces on the ground except the secured floor. The walls pulled out of the flooring. The only thing broken were 16 "resin Bolts" I am having a horrible time finding out how to order them. No description on parts list. Somebody help and I will give the shed 5 stars. Going to secure walls to the flooring with an "L" bracket if I can get it back together. ... show more
